Haha yes, odd combo :) But I think I get what you are saying - Definitely a Halloween vibe going on with all the scary background ambience noises (like evil laughter). But also a disney vibe with all the voice changes/character changes - Min Gyu shared that he did a voice of a young girl, a young boy, and a middle-aged woman (inspired by the kettle lady from Beaty and the beast)

Oh my god, you guys!! Thank you so much for reacting to their performance of this song by Forestella! Tomorrow, their performance of this song on stage will be aired and there will be an official video clip from KBS k-pop I believe. They will have props, outfits, and pretty much a musical theatre performance. You guys are more than welcome to check it out!

AMAZING!!! Love the arrangement of this cover!!! So creative!! I think I've heard like an evil laughter in the background at some point haha - and the voice changes too - someone mentioned Halloween vibe and I totally agree!! And the tenor who sings in the every beginning - Min Gyu, was it? - His English pronunciation was totally on point!!!!!

I think Sound of Music has been on rotation on TV for decades around the holiday season every year in the US, which is how we got into it!

I am late here ~ First of all very appreciated for your big interest in Forestella ~.. Yeah ~ DOUBLE My Favorite Things (Your reaction and Forestella) ~♡~. This song "My Favorite Things" is well known for our Korean people. The film SOUND OF MUSIC was played in our Korean big theater in 1969. And after that from time to time that movie was shown in TV. So, My Favorite Things is accustomed to our Korean people. Yesterday in our Korean TV KBS Open Concert (열린 음악회) Forestella sung this song My Favorite Things~!. You can enjoy more interesting and particular acting of Forestella's perfomance in that video (KBS Open Concert). As soon as I listen to their sound I was full of very very fantastic and pleasant feeling like a magical journey ad you said ~! At the same time worried about their health cus I realize MinGyu and HyungHo Kang got a cold. Maybe cus of very busy schedules. Nevertheless their harmony was awesome,beautiful and their sound was very surprising~♡☆♡~😄💕💕
