Actually, you don't have to swap the fuse - Just put another fuse at the battery - Make the fuse at the battery 5 A higher than the heater. Fuse at the battery blows, cable problem - Fuse at the heater blows, heater problem.

My favourite Christmas gift this year was a Foresty Forest t-shirt from my kids.

I would recommend rounding the corner of that storage cabinet, then pad it. It will hurt to it in the middle of the night or tripping over something. On the wiring loom up to the battery, I would strongly recommend putting a grommet where it passes thru the firewall. That plastic loom wrap will offer zero protection. The sharp edge will rip thru the insulation and short out the harness.

If you paint (seal) one side of wood, even plywood, and not the other, they will warp over time because they will expand and contract unevenly from one side to the other. This is the number one reason why I see peoples homemade cabinets fail, they paint the outside but not the inside.

I can not tell you how much I am appreciating your videos on this building, this is the REAL way I would like to build out a van - doing it the way you are doing it is so much how I would want to do it, a bit at a time, while living in it. I'm sure you're having challenges that we don't necessarily see, but this is really enjoyable and quite easy to follow! Time to head over to Patreon ;)
