You should have your inventor buddy to create a garbage bag with a semi solid bottom with drainage holes that would come in a round flat box that you could dump everything into without using your hands at all and killing 2 birds with one stone rinsing and removal also he can create an attachment plastic ring that the bag can be held open on as well as be able to attach to a/the lip mainly for single man jobs without a human helper

As an auto detailer with 90% of whats needed for these services, if youre putting people on maintenance plans you should be using a teflon based coating(such as 303 touchless sealant, spray and rinse!) to make your recurring maintenance cans a quick job.

Started one of these last summer! You nailed this right on the head man! I taped fliers on a bunch of cans around trash day and it wasn’t crazy effective for me, but still was worth it. Door to door was the best route. My buddy and I made about $400 a day charging $20 for one can and $30 for both. (We had some competition in the area and had to keep the prices lower) BRING A BROOM AND MULTIPLE GLOVES! There was some vile rotten dog sh- and who knows what else that washed up. You won’t want to use your main pair of gloves for handling that stuff.

Jacob J. Congratulations on your business adventure. You will always have competition .. but don't lower your prices .. You want to be known as the. Best and punctual. And all the good things you are. Let the competition lower their prices ... Sooner than you know they will realize that they are not making any money .. and won't be able to keep up with expenses or equipment repair Raise your prices instead. There is always people willing to pay you more . For the same job.. Just because you ask more and they have more... The job still the same... Keep up the quality work!

Wow I'm glad I read your comment because I was feeling the same way that you were . I'm thinking most people would rather clean their own can . I mean all you really need is a regular hose some bleach and a regular hose nozzle. But I think it's all about convenience. Not wanting to mess with those nasty trash cans. It's like most people know how to pick up dog poop . But there are people out there that make a good living scooping up dog poop .
