I was at a place in my life where I was no longer happy because I felt that I was being “conditioned” and could not move forward. Decided to start school with a family and just recently had my second child… I am now completing my teaching degree. I gave my job 11 years of my life and even though I was unhappy, I am forever grateful for the push it gave me to work on my plan B. I am so happy for you Kayleigh! Congratulations! I graduated this May and I am about to start working as a ICU nurse in TX, Now I am a RN, BSN. I moved to USA to become educated, I had to learn English and take all the prerequisites. I did all in 5 years. It was a very hard journey but with God and my husband help it was possible. It's is hard but not impossible.

Damn girl... I went to Purdue University for nursing in West Lafayette too (well started my perquisites there but had to transfer to a satellite Purdue campus cause my mother got dx with cancer so had to move back home to be with her). Got my RN. Worked as a nurse for 17 years then got my BSN at Indiana University. Talk about nursing school being hard. I never worked so hard than I did at school. Wait till you prep for clinical and get your assignments. Sleepless nights girl, sleepless nights... but it's worth it!

Listening to this is very nostalgic for me. I remember the very exact feeling when I found out I was accepted into nursing school. I actually graduated from Purdue Fort Wayne’s nursing program 4 years ago!! Nursing is one of the best decisions I’ve made! And once you start your career, you’ll find your niche and you’ll be able to incorporate your artistic abilities into your nursing care. Congratulations pretty lady!!! I'm so stinkin happy for you, girl! 🎉🎉🎉 It really does feel like you're meant to take this path that you're on! As a "retired EMT" I personally know how difficult the material can get. You're doing amazing! I left the job when I was 8 months pregnant with my first daughter and am now working towards my bachelor's in healthcare management while staying home with my two daughters. You are not only the depiction of humble grace but also a beautiful inspiration to all of us trying to further our education. Love you so much, girl! Can never get enough of your vids, especially the vlogs, but I've really been loving your videos regarding being a student and what study/planning methods work for you. Would love to see more of those even! I'm actually trying your written monthly layout planning method this term! Not sure the effectiveness for me personally yet but I'll keep you updated! 😘😘😘

Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈🍾 I got accepted too, to a 2 year RN program and my excitement turned into a little fear, I start fall of 2021. I was actually waitlisted at first then 17 day later I was accepted. I know how hard nursing school can be but it is doable, I just pray 🙏🏽 I complete my first try, because I have a passion for nursing 💖

I resonate SO much with this. And I live in indy!! Didn’t know you went to school here!! Literally 3 days ago I decided finally I was going to go to college. I’m 21, I’ve never known what I wanted to do. I worked at Sephora inside of a JCPENNEY and I thought that’s what I wanted to do but after working their I realized it was NOT what I wanted to do. Nursing has always been something I’ve been interested in but never thought I was smart enough, I also have really bad anxiety so college was very scary and stressful for me. I finally took the steps and applied to some schools. I hope I hear back!! Thank you so much for posting this.

I did an accelerated nursing program too. It was super challenging but at the end of it youre so proud you accomplished one of the hardest programs. Good luck girly! You definitely can do it!!
