My first pregnancy I had zero clue. I worked with a young Momma at a daycare...she bumped my boobs with a cot. It was excruciating! She was like, you pregnant??? I was adamant...no way! I craved chocolate cake...my hubby was asking same thing. I am not a chocolate lover... and I was EXHAUSTED. I usually have tons of energy. Congrats, beautiful!!!

You may already know this, but its a good idea to let your preceptor/charge nurse/and or manager know you’re pregnant early on because there are some medications that you should not handle during pregnancy, and some lifting/assisting that you should get help with or avoid if possible.
