Would have liked to see how you forged everything on the back to attach to the belt.

Wow, wow... Wait a second, and how did you do the buckle loop to attach it to the belt?? 🤔

That is a fine-looking belt buckle, well done. I am curious how you hold it to the belt and how it hooks in place. I am a wanna-be blacksmith. I just want to make myself a belt buckle so I am checking how other people do it. Yours is close to what I want. Just gotta figure out the attachment setup. Liked, Subbed and shared... Thanks...

What size steel did you use for the buckle and how did you make and attach the hardware for it to function?

Another great video, got any advice on where to find/make an anvil stand, my current one is just a rickety old stool that is about to fall apart

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m not sure about where to get an anvil stand from. Mine is just a stump from and oak tree, but it works great. I heavy duty fabricated one would be good also. Hope this helped, have a great day.

Honestly it doesn't look like he did attach anything to it. Mechanically or otherwise.

Part of the process is missing.

This isn't forging! It's just a flat piece hammered to make it look as if it's forged!
@andreaslindholm37115 жыл бұрын
Well, that does make it forged, complicated isn't always better

This is totally forging the definition of forge “ is make or shape ( a metal object) by heating in a fire or furnace and beating or hammering it”
@calynhutto64242 жыл бұрын
He did put it in a furnace so technically it is forged

What is the wood used for?

It's a low budget swage, to get that slight curve in the piece. Note low budget doesn't mean bad. If it works and it's free, it's good

Having very excited to watch the video, but we (indians) wouldn't get it.
