We’ve all been hurt by another person at some time or another - we were treated badly, trust was broken, hearts were hurt.
And while this pain is normal, sometimes that pain lingers for too long. We relive the pain over and over, and have a hard time letting go.
This causes problems. It not only causes us to be unhappy, but can strain or ruin relationships, distract us from work and family and other important things, make us reluctant to open up to new things and people. We get trapped in a cycle of anger and hurt, and miss out on the beauty of life as it happens.
We need to learn to let go. We need to be able to forgive, so we can move on and be happy.
In today's video we will learn the importance of forgiveness for ourselves and how to let go of the past.

Life is so much more freeing when you’re not controlled by what people say, you’re not offended when someone is rude, you’re not sour when traffic is bad, you’re not upset because the flight is delayed. You’ve tapped into the power to remain calm. You know God is on the throne; you know He’s fighting your battles. You know God will get you to where you’re supposed to be.

When bad situations from the past were not handled in an appropriate way, such as self advocacy on some level. Maybe even a fight. One is left with the feeling for vengeance and left unfulfilled until vengeance has been gotten. That’s why it’s so hard to just forgive and let go. Those words are easy and cliché for people who haven’t had a tough life. But the one thing that gives me grace in the times when I struggle with bad memories, is that Jesus was betrayed by Judas.

this came at the right time. a new friend I made became upset with me for going to someone other than her for advice and blew it so far out of proportion and has turned her anger into a game that involved hurting me mentally and emotionally. I want to forgive her and all the others who've hurt me in the past so that I may move on and continue to collect the blessings God's set up for me to receive. God, i pray for wisdom in decision-making, the ability to forgive and keep my distance, and the ability to keep it moving with my life so that I may rejoice in your blessings, love, grace, and mercy. GORGIVENESS is different from LET GO. what's GORGIVENESS ？ embrace and love the people who hurt you again. If you can't do it, just let go, take back the energy from this person, and move forward. that's different. I still remember when the girl my ex got with had wished my cousin with cancer had die and it was hard to forgive at first I really wanted to know why she had said that bc she didn’t even have to wish doesn’t she know a lot of ppl die from cancer and I did forgive but I’ll always remember it i forgave her for me not for her I forgave bc the more I had hate in my heart the more I felt like I want getting anywhere looking for answers of why she said that I guess one day she’ll have to experience how much of a pain it is to have a family member with cancer.
