Welcome to my Animal Crossing channel. Today we're taking a look at a classic Animal Crossing feature that never returned to Animal Crossing New Horizons.
We breakdown its functionality, including the benefits of using this tool.
We then highlight how this feature could return to a future Animal Crossing game, (or even an enhanced version of Animal Crossing New Horizons) and explain why we've drawn this conclusion!

It would be so cool if the positions of NPCs and villagers appeared on the map. I love interacting with my villagers when they are in the museum

@@ShesBats I love your idea. Someone was talking about cars in AC, imagine you're picking up your villager in the car to go to the museum or town. After living on an island that prevents that, I guess lol

Things I want in the next animal crossing: Sleep with one of your villager and dream together. Go to your friend’s town or island with one of your villagers. More then 3 tiers when it comes to terraforming. Increase the max villagers to like 15+. Better yet, make it an open world game where you can buy more land with bells as well as buy a permit for more villagers to move in. Bring back the emporium or Nookington with Gracie. Establish relations with NPCs such as K.K. like if you participate in the concert a certain amount of times. More villager interactions like mini games (Bring back hide and seek). More object interactions, like bring back the deserted island escape game. The Switch simply displaying the logo when you interact is lame. Craft clothing with a sewing machine (Have Sable teach me), along with how you make fabrics and using certain patterns. Please, Unbreakable golden tools. Bring back the ores from new leaf like Rubies and Sapphires. These make great crafting materials. Being able to craft multiple items at once.

I always thought a good adaption of that would have been something on the Nook Phone. Like pull up the map, select a villager, and you get a quick 'ping' of their location. Like maybe a dot on the map for just a second. So even if you don't see the exact spot you at least know the area.

My biggest additions id like are to the able sisters/villagers clothing aspects. Id really like the able sisters to be able to tell whether you already have a clothing item in your storage or not. Id also like villagers clothing be able to manipulate more easily. Like when you open thier closet, you can see all of thier clothing options at once, and youd have the option to remove some. That would be awesome

i do hope with the next animal crossing we would be able to go to a city where everyone else is and of course loading should be as seamless as possible so when ridding the train or bus you can look at the different scenery while the game loads to the new area with people it would be nice to go to the city and you randomly meet other people and have a chat with the potential of inviting them to your own place or vise versa and i do think we should have the option to let others visit our place when we're not in game but not allowing said visitor(s) to physically change anything and only being able to visit and buy clothes or items from the bookshop or go to the museum

I'd love to be able to place flowers and bushes into the craft able pots and flower beds. Banana trees. Be able to turn houses left and right like 3/4 of a turn Be able to store produce/food in the fridge and nothing else. Store just pots/pans in the stove

The Megaphone was one of my favourite items in New Leaf. I had fun calling my villagers every time lol.

The megaphone feature though useful, does have a flaw. Sometimes the wrong neighbor/visitor would answer back. There was one time I called Gracie's name and TANGY answered back. (How in Serena's name does that even happen?)

I don't always watch the videos, or watch it the whole way through at one time, or say the word (like I am about to, LOL 🤣); "Megaphone", but I always watch the whole video and you do a Fabulous job, keep it up.

Megaphone! I use mine all the time! Especially when villagers request a particular fish or bug and then dissappear after I've caught it! You'd think that after all this time my husband would be used to me speaking random names into my 2dsxl but each and every time he acts confused!

If only we had a device that could make long-distance calls. Maybe one that could fit in our pockets for convenience? Perhaps with the ability to store the contact information of others. Could even make a chime or ring when they're called. Would definitely make it easier to ask the villagers where they're at.

Being able to call out for villagers would be awesome! If the mic rumor isn't true, we could at least type in the villager's name to call out and find them. But a megaphone is way more fun!

Megaphone. I would love this feature to return. One thing I’m wondering is how will the microphone on the next switch work when it’s connected to the tv. I can see it working in handheld mode but for the tv I wonder if it will be an extra you have to buy or if it’s included with a controller. I’m just not sure how it will work, so I’m a little bit sceptical.

I would love to have this feature back! I try to talk to each of my villagers while doing my dailies & sometimes I just can't find 1 or 2 villagers. Run all over the island a couple of times, check in the museum, Nook's & Ables & still not find them so being able to walk around & call for them would be great.

You didn’t know it works on ALL characters? Pft! I remember shouting gibberish or noises into the microphone and I’d usually get the special characters, like for example, Saharah or Kapn responding.

Megaphone! Yes, that would be really cool if it came back, it can be difficult to locate villagers some times on New Horizons. Also I would be so excited if they brought back being able to work with Brewster. 🙂
