I stayed up till 3:30am finishing/rendering this video so that's how much I cared for making this I sacrificed SLEEP gasps
Okay but yeah imma post a personal rant below so don't read it if you don't want to. Hope you enjoy :)
Where to start hmm, well I can personally relate to Maya's situation kind of.. my dad isn't in my life and never really has been because he's never cared for me just like Maya's dad. Well hers sort of did but not enough to stay and try with her which sucks. And Shawn's father like role to Maya breaks my heart because I've always wanted that for myself but I'll never have a shawn hunter father figure and I'm just going to accept that. Life isn't a tv show. Lack of father figure is why I push boys away and can't trust them which is what Maya seems to do with Lucas and Farkle and I can just relate to her in that way. Other than that we are complete opposites haha! But yeah this video means so much to me just like the storyline does, I'm so in love with these two as individual characters and as a father/daughter relationship.
Boy Meets World is one of my favourite shows ever and I'm so glad Shawn is getting some good screentime as he's one of my favourite fictional characters, he's so understood and messed up and I just love it.
I have more Shawn Hunter and Maya Hart videos planned but they wont be finished for awhile as I might wait for GMW season 3 to air and see if there are any good scenes from that I can include. :)
It's okay to not have a dad-like figure in your life, there's so many of us out there so please don't feel alone or unloved. Just because your dad didn't stick around doesn't mean others wont. You are beautiful and you are loved.

Always nice to see this song used right. Too often, people use the huge moments from shows when that's not what it's about. Most of the major moments between Shawn and Maya are just little steps that had profound impacts. Them talking about their broken childhoods in the bay window is just a simple conversation. They aren't really saying anything elaborate, but it's what isn't being said that's what makes it important. Maya desperately wanting to ask him to live up to what he's saying but afraid to drive him away, and Shawn realizing what she wants and how broken she must be to want him. But he commits right there to living up to his word.

This is so good! I'm not sure if u ever saw the original, but Shawn's story is very similar to Maya's which is why he's still one of my favorite characters and I adore him/Maya

Oh I cant wait to see that:) I'm hoping in season 3, maybe we'll actually see Mr Turner/Shawn interact but we at least saw him talk to Maya about Shawn:)

I watched Boy meets world, and Shawn was my favorite character. I never watched Girl meets world don't know why, but found it here on You Tube and was hooked. So great seeing all the old characters back, mixed with the new. I have been watching the shows and snipperts for three days now. Thought the story line of Shawn, Maya and Katy was the best, they were so good for one another. Was so devastated to come upon one that said the Death of Shawn Hunter, watched and cried and watched the follow ups and cried some more. Not only did Disney cancel a WHOLESOME, FAMILY entertainment show but they wrote out Shawn, I am beyond words. I'm hoping someone will write back that this is just a cruel hoax, and he wasn't killed off.

its in other country there were spoilers leaked for the episode but its in a different language so even if you find the clips you wont be able to understand what their saying I saw a few clips but i DIDNT understand a word I think its russian

This show seriously hits so close to home. I remember watching Boy meets world when I was a kid. Shawn life so closely resembles mine. Awful parents, grew up in a trailer park, neglected and/or abused daily, my best friends parents took me in when I was in high school and treated me like family. They’re who I consider my family to this day. As an adult my outlook on life is incredibly similar to Shawn’s on GMW, I even adopted a little girl. My personal motto is “be the person you needed as a kid”. My daughter is a daddy’s girl for sure, we do everything together! I refuse to let her have a childhood that resembles mine in any way. She’ll never know that pain.

I know they are from different generations, but there is a part of you, that you can't help but think what would happen between them if they WERE in the same generation, and they WERE a thing, I would want them to be in Boy Meets World together, I feel like Maya's character would be more likable and her script would be more realistic, since I also feel like the acting and quality of the shows are slowly fading as the generations go on. Idk there is just something so unlikable about how the kids in GMW communicate with each other where u find yourself thinking ALL. THE. TIME. "What? what was that? What teenagers communicate and talk with each other like that? That's so unnatural and dramatic.Their scripts/conversations are SO forced. SO much dialogue."
