Worked on these for a while, narrow aisle truck. Really easy machine to work. Runs on tracks under the floor and lifts you up with the forks. It’s very difficult to make that kind of mistake considering your inches from the pallet

Just shows how disgustingly cheap companies are. If they had put waterfall grate shelves there then it never would’ve happened.

That is a fucking tall warehouse plus the pallets are double stacked, better have well trained fork lift operators any mistakes will be a big fuckery.

Day shift did it, so it's OK. Night shifts problem now.

Time to set a skid next to it, harness yourself to the rack and restack it on the new skid.

Looks like one of those warehouses where when a forklift driver bumps a rack leg the whole warehouse collapses. Those lower legs gotta be under an extreme amount of vertical load…. Just takes someone to flick that matchstick and the whole house of cards is coming down 😅

I've seen that so much before. And it's sad because you can't stop to fix it because then that will hurt your numbers. If you have to clean up an area like that I think the company shouldn't mess with you on missing out on numbers.

Things happen.any forklift driver working in a warehouse. Will have come across this problem.

The problem is that's it's not a blue pallet.

There's a warehouse sort of like that not that huge and not quite that high in west Phoenix it's all robotic the same device that transports the pallet also slips down the aisles latched onto the side and climbs the damn wall puts something away then it may grab two more come down shoot across the entire warehouse to the truck dock somewhere else. I was installing a Machine in there off the main aisle. You had to watch out for them it was dark in the warehouse the little autonomous vehicles were everywhere.

Why is there not pallet wire rack decking on the racks!!!! This warehouse is a disaster waiting to happen!!!

I used to work at the BMW plant. It wasn't all that uncommon for the cars to either fall off the assembly line, or there were elevators for the cars because the line was multi level, and sometimes they would just roll off the top and fall down the elevator shaft 😂😂 it's was always a treat since you never had a chance to relax otherwise... two 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch in 12 hours, and the bathrooms, lunchroom, and smoking areas were always about a 5 minute walk away

I been driving a crown reach for the past 6 years. Our warehouse only goes up to about 6 levels. Can’t imagine putting something up that high especially double stacked pretty ridiculous and unsafe if you ask me. I’m guessing those forklifts are equipment with cameras?

And the guy that put it in the rack knew it broke cuz it broke as soon as he took his forks away from it

That pallet is broken! It's easy for them to screw up, being up so high it's hard to see if they are putting the forks in straight. Those look like long forks, if they are longer than a pallet if they put them to far they will catch in the pallet behind? If they get the forks under the pallet in the front istei of in it would be a problem!

Those racks are free standing and dangerous! they should be anchored to the floor back to back racks hooked to each other at the uprights. if at a wall uprights anchored to the wall!

When you store stuff that high, you should have damn good pallet framing. That's going to be a pain to fix. Hopefully a skilled forklift guy can get it out. If not, they'll have to go up there in a cage and take out all the pieces one by one, how many feet up in the air?
