Formentera Vlog - A Day Trip From Ibiza

Welcome to this Formentera vlog, the third vlog in our Ibiza series of vlogs.
Formentera is the smallest and most southerly island of the Pityusic Islands group which belongs to the Balearic Islands and is easily accessible by boat from Ibiza Town and takes approximately 30 minutes.
In this Formentera vlog, we take the 30 minute boat trip from Ibiza Town (which is mentioned in our recent Ibiza Town Vlog) and board a coach, which takes us on a journey around the beautiful island of Formentera.
This Formentera vlog starts off by taking us to the El Mirador viewpoint. It's a great place to get a stunning view of Formentera.
The famous La Mola Lighthouse and Cliff is next on the itinerary, visit the museum and spot some famous Ibiza Wall Lizards.
A stop on San Francisco is next, where we take in the sights of the beautiful small town, before getting some lunch at a near by restaurant.
The highlight for us on our trip of Formentera was our next stop, the beautiful beach of Es Pujols. Of course we found a beautiful small beach bar and enjoyed some relaxing time watching the waves, supping a cold Estrella beer.
More beaches next, passing the famous Salines D'en Marroig on the way, we stop at Platja D'Illetes, oh, and another beer stop.
A quick walk further on to Platja De Ses Illetes and then back to the bus to the port, where we got back on the boat and headed back to Ibiza Town.
This was an amazing day, especially as we had never been to Formentera before and we really hope you enjoy this vlog of our day.
As always, we sum up the day at the end with a well deserved drink from our balcony.

Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint KZfaq channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. It's just a bit of fun, and great for our sanity. Your support is hugely appreciated x

Yes! Loved this from start to finish! Dancing Derik was a character! The grey rinse brigade on the grey hound 😂😂 you were definitely the spring chickens on the trip but they looked a lovely bunch! Missing a Mario! Good find on the beach bar! Stunning beaches but I’m guessing the reason the first one was so quiet was thanks to the jelly fish and I’m sorry with that amount of jelly fish I did not envy that lady swimming 😳 you guys are awesome so entertainment and you make our Sunday night big screen viewing just the best! Ah thank you so much. To be fair the jellies were just at that one end. We went in up to our thighs for a paddle, bare foot and then walked all the way to the bar bare foot and didn’t see one - or miraculously avoided them!!! The pint on the beach was amazing, it made the day. They might have been old, but they were a great bunch and we really enjoyed their company - even if we could only converse through Roslyn 6 languages!! Even though the tour had some older people it looks like it went to some lovely places - that first beach with the beach bar looked idyllic! Argh, too bad about the seafood paella, but I'm glad there was someone who was willing to help out! Looks like it was worth the visit.

Always perfect timing for after lunch guys ! 😃 This looked so nice even though you were with older people it seems like you had fun with them in the end and good that the italian guy finished off Wills seafood Paella, I don't like seafood either ! That little church was so beautiful and the beaches seemed so lovely there especially as you really liked the quiet one with the beach bar. Enjoyed looking around here and you'll have to use factor 50 suncream next time , I use that all the time here in Wales 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 ~ Anna 👍

Love an "All Day, Parteee," Rachel and Wills. Enjoyed visiting San Francisco with you. Your wearing a California shirt too, Rachel. We enjoy going to restaurant's that are family style like this one. There's a great Italian one in SF California too. Many presidents, Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher and these two tramps have eaten there! Enjoyed visiting Formentera with you. Groups of Italians on holidays are always good fun! I took a friend from Australia (on their first trip to Italy) on a boat trip down the Adriatic coast, the boat left at 9am by 9.30am the extended family (grandpa, parents, children, cousins, aunts, uncles, random strangers!) had cracked open the damigiana ( I think it's called a demijohn in English, the huge bottle, like a small barrel) of red wine and it was drinks all round! For a snack they had also brought along a complete wheel of cheese, a huge one. We had a rollicking good time with them!

You’re welcome! Sadly no, the 2 hours flight wasn’t time enough to become fluent! It was 3 jugs of sangria for our end of the table (to be fair it was as weak as, and tasted like ribena!!) thank god for the beach bar!! That certainly was a stunning beach. Cast of cocoon 😂 one of my fave films, just rewatched this recently, still amazing. Well done on starting an Ibiza day at 9am looking fantastic. Right bunch of ravers this boat and coach lot! Wills has started his own off track urbex channel. Crystal blue seas, nice repurposing of the museum footage! Wow San Francisco? Well at least you didn’t get ripped off by a fake buddhist monk like i did on the other San Francisco! Wills good find on the vinyl, €2 seems fair. Well done Luigi for helping Wills with the nasty lunch! Wow, lovely beach and bar, amazing. Yikes jellyfish! Some very nice beaches, we can see why people visit! Power walks fuelled by beer, love it! Ah thank you. Not watched Cocoon in years, but it felt like we were in it! I know, that bit of footage Wills did - in complete seriousness - made me laugh out loud! "The cast of cocoon" ah guys that cracked us up🤣🤣. The irony is however, only those of us of a certain age will get that joke🤣🙈. Well, in the end they looked like a lovely bunch, especially the Italians😊👍. Formentera looked like a total chill out island 🏝. While we think we would find it a little too relaxed for our liking, those fabulous beaches were definitely worth exploring for the day though, just gorgeous 😍 ⛱️. Such a shame you didn't take your swimming gear, we wanted to step through the telly and dive in when we saw those turquoise waters 🤗. But then you did find that beach bar, now that is right up our alley, special holiday memory made right there🍻. Loving the ibiza series guys, can't wait to see where you get to next🤩. Cast of Cocoon 😂 Es Pujols 🤣🤣 Pronounced Poo Holes. I wondered what the view was like from the back terrace. Great work you ol' geriatrics. Great insight in to my rapidly approaching future as far as travel goes. When we went to Antarctica about 20 years ago Michelle and I were the youngest on the boat. Average age was about 75. We were in our 30s. Old buggers are the only ones that can afford it. 😂 This was A1 fab. You almost made the place appealing. That little beach bar would've been the icing on the cake - the Estrella on top of the Navidad tree. I just wanted Juan good joke and you went with Roberto 😂 Again but, flamin' fantastic!

Ah thanks so much. They were a fun bunch to be fair, we just got the feeling from the ticket seller that it would be a younger crowd!! I think me and Wills think we’re younger than we are though! The beach bar was idyllic and I wish I’d worked out that Pujols was pronounced like that - there was definitely another gag in there!! @@PostcardAndAPint We do love a good Spanish beach. We have been to exactly one. In December. It was cold. But the kids swam. Playa La Concha in San Sebastian. It was the first time we realised Europe might have good beaches. We'd seen some in Italy and the Riviera and were, let's say, underwhelmed. So thank god for Spain. And Wales. Some of your beaches aren't horrible either. Except Rhyll. RIP Susan Seagull.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Formentera, it looks natural and unspoiled. That poor lass in the water at the beach probably got stung by all those jelly fish so you did right by having a pint at the beach bar instead. I'm with Wills, not a fan of seafood paella either.

Thank you so much. I think we explain our process on our 500 subs video, but in a nutshell, wills does a pretty linear version, we watch it, I add music, we watch it. I write a script and Wills records me - he then fits it in and does all the transitions! We’re a well oiled machine now!! Glad you enjoyed it 🍻

Thanks for watching. We booked the trip from a booth in San Antonio, even though the trip went from Ibiza town. I think in season you’d be able to book it from Ibiza town too, but there were no kiosks there on March, only in San Antonio. I think the kiosk we got them from said Aqua Bus on it if that helps. Hi, we booked this at a kiosk in st Antonio, it included both the bus and the boat. When we got off the boat some people hired cars or bikes for the day as the island isn't too big. I can't remember what we paid to be honest, but ours didn't really include a swim as it was only March. Hope you have a brilliant time 🍻

Formentera is renowned across Europe for many pristine white beaches and the fact that nude sunbathing is allowed on most of its beaches. Where are you off to next ? and do you have a pay pal link would like to buy you a pint through that

Wills I am shocked, shocked to the core to find a person that doesn't like prawns!😲 They're top tier seafood, ok crabs legs are good but fiddly, but prawns are the best. Just take off the head then its not looking at you!

He was brought up very much a meat two veg kind of guy! He’s so much better now but I can’t get him to love seafood!! We had lobster once in Sardinia and he did like it, but I had to crack the whole thing and get the meat out for him!! Bless him!

Hi, we can’t remember as we must have paid cash as there’s no record on our bank statements! Off the top of my head I think it was about £75 each - but this was out of season. Sorry that’s not much help! We bought the tickets from a kiosk in San Antonio. Cheers for watching 🍻
