@@matchaa121 Most of us Esto's in North America had parents/grandparents who fled Estonia because of the USSR invading. We have innate feelings about Russia for this.

Ilves is non-sensical when he says that "Estonians had experienced this", what Germans had not. Strange statement for someone who never lived in the Soviet Union, but in Germany. What is more, Estonians, whether they emigrated or not , have benefitted from the common market and trade, including with Russia, which he denounces as wishful thinking.

you trolling ? Estonia has most technologically adavanced society, everything you can do electronically, first country with e-citizenship, need an ID or other document just file an e-mail and youre done, home of many IT specialists. Theres a term "Estonian miracle" for how they dealt with liberating from soviets ocupation then economical and technological reforms of 90's and 00's under Mart Laar. Because of its size its hardly recognized by the world, but its constantly in top of any rankings regarding democracy, liberty or tax competetivness.
