A former member of the Gateway Church, a mega-church in North Texas, says he was stunned by the sexual assault allegations made against the church's founder.

I literally sobbed for days when I found out! I turned so many people to Robert Morris bc he would talk about his past, but when I heard this I had such anger! What God taught me is that I put my faith in HIM! Robert Morris broke the bible down for me so I could understand and God showed me beautiful things through Morris's teachings. But I have no words for what he did! His wife knew as well! And for the victim blamers shut up!! She has every right to tell her story! I put my faith in Jesus and not man!!! If we learn anything in this I pray we all draw closer to our own personal relationship with our Lord and Savior ❤

People are actually viewing Robert as the victim in this. That's the scariest aspect to me. Her story has to be told. She deserves restitution from this poor excuse of a man, let alone pastor!

I know for a fact that this has happened in other churches & nothing has been done to prosecute the guilty & provide counseling for the victims. It's all "swept under the rug" in the name of forgiveness. Why should the victims have to pay for the sins of the guilty?!

There is nothing new in this report LeBlanc doesn’t know any more than he did a week ago when he made claims about James Robison that he subsequently admitted were wrong. Leblanc doesn’t know any mor today, than he did a week ago. This is poor conduct for a follower of JESUS.

I attended Gateway and tried before this all came out to get my husband to leave this church and attend another. My husband (at the time) refused, ultimately he chose another path, marrying his best friend’s sister. 🤔 I believe my persistence to leave Gateway was the stirring of the Holy Soirit in me. Reading God’s Word for myself allowed me to see truth and recognize deception.

I love pastor Robert Morris and I believe God has forgiven him. Remember David in the Bible and Jesus is still going to rule from his throne when he comes back. 🙏 I'm not condoning what he did, but I'm sure he's asked for forgiveness and he has talked about it openly. The Lord's prayer also talks about forgiveness

I would like to believe this but the fact that Morris wanted to give to so many people but the woman that he hurt, he wanted her to beg and just give her a pittance, speaks volumes to me. I have been around misogynistic men my whole life.

These interviews with "former" or disgruntled members is pointless. heck, if HE didn't know, doesn't it stand to reason that others didn't know. How easy is it to jump on something now, because of a dictrinal issue u had with the pastor in the past.

Where are the contemporaneous witnesses who were present when CC exposed the molestation to church leaders and RM was confronted with his crimes/sins? CC’s father (we don’t even know his name.). What is the name of CC’s church in Hominy where she and her parents attended and RM preached? What was the pastor’s name? What are the names of the church leaders who heard the evidence against RM? Did RM confess fully and acknowledge his guilt and demonstrate contrition and remorse and ask forgiveness? Who are the witnesses. How did those people arrive at the decision not to notify the police? Who devised RM’s disciplinary process? What was CC’s father’s role in this and was RM accountable to him in any way? All we have is CC’s version of events and her motives are tainted by her demands for money with the explicit threat that failure to submit to her extortion will result in great damage to Gateway Church and its leaders. If RM acknowledged his crimes/sin and asked forgiveness and CC, her parents, church leaders granted forgiveness, then what is the basis for CC’s claims against RM now? CC was in her 20’s before the statute of limitations expired on some of RM’s crimes. Why didn’t she act then?

She named Olen Griffing as the elder first reported to at Shady Grove. He had been a state trooper. He was highly involved in Roberts "restoration" He also thought RM was blessed. He speaks of him very highly in older videos. Olen is a Gateway elder. Shady!

Actually, God is pleased with exposing darkness. These are the wolves in sheep's clothing were are warned about. This is all documented and Cindy is not the only victim and Robert is not the only perpetrator from this church. Read the news for yourself. There are numerous victims already. God considers abuse to be a sin we should publicly call out. This is consistent with 1 Timothy 5:20, which says, “As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.” Others take warning-not only to avoid falling into sin themselves-but so they can avoid trusting an untrustworthy person. The sinner-not the person who reports the sin-is the one responsible for causing division and stirring up trouble (Ezek. 18:20). By reporting the truth, we promote peace and unity among believers.
