Taylor seemed so innocent as someone who can never hurt a fly. He is devoid of emotions indeed irrespective of what atrocities he might have underwent. As long as he was a PAN Africanist and supported the ideology of Kwame Nkuruma; for Africans to Unite and trade among themselves i support him. It is not lost in me that Westerns are always against leaders who advocate the unity of Africa. They(westerns) always want to be seen as civilizations who are assisting Africa whereas the main aim is to milk the African's minerals dry in the process.

First of all, Liberia was a refuge for Afro American freed and fled slaves. What did they do when they got there? They segregated the Natives who they found to be far too primitive, and used them for help as the Colonialists did with them. They built societies in the image of the American values, built structures, took hold of land. Fast forwards 100's of years. Former President Charles Taylor sold Diamonds for arms that helped viciously murder innocent African civilians where is the Pan Africanism here? He isn't PAN African, He is PAN Liberian as he funded a militia in a CIVIL WAR that resulted in mass violations of human rights. So, your defending him, how is this any different then say Hitler or past US presidents that supported slavery? I find it gravely disturbing that you focused on the U.S. who initially agreed his trial could wait and allowed for his exile, until there was suspicious behavior by Charles Taylor during that time, that prompted them to recommend it was time for him to be brought to trial. Other than that it was other countries including the one who experienced the war crimes and crimes against humanity, like grandmas and Grandpas and Children of African decent being raped murdered, drugged and turned into sex slaves and war children, that approached the UN for their help. You are so blinded by your social media data sourcing and algorithms. Tell me, how many actual peer reviewed research papers have you read about this whole process? Here is a link to one: www.researchgate.net/publication/233108767_The_Importance_of_Trying_Charles_Taylor And this Ideology you speak of from Kwame Nkuruma is a Ghanaian one, have you been there? Its not a good place to live, see here how the African inhabitants feel about their barley livable lifestyle: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/guB_d71ix8_Ug40.html It is so easy to lose sight of the truth when you live in the light of of an LCD screen, nurtured by the most sophisticated data sourcing propagation machines known to man. see here: Netflix: The Social Dilemma. It is time to get your head out of your ass!

Listening very well to Taylor, one can realize that, Americans had enjoyed and looted Liberians wealth through Topman. How can a president write a speech to be fine tuned by an American embassy in Liberia? I know they had problems with Taylor because he is a pan Africanist who have them tough time. Bush said, Taylor must leave, why? Will any country's leader tell George Bush to leave his presidency and later mount Marines with the intention of storming to removing him from power? How come Nigeria's obasanjo be under America's pressure to arrest Charles Taylor? America will not go un punished for the atrocities cause to Africans in any form if nature exist. Charles Taylor is a hero and shall be the strongest. Ohuruuuuu!!!!

Redemption songs say it all. How long shall they kill our prophets, why we stand aside and look? African leaders wake up from your sleep and let turn them back. No matter what, Jah, would never give the power to the bald head Who run come crucified the dread........ Indeed, time alone and time alone will tell. Africa and Africans are forever God's own people
