Nurse knows how to play defense you clown. Since Ek got there Nurse has been playing almost exclusively against the other teams top lines. And the analytics show that him and Ceci are crushing their opposition by pretty much every metric. You Nurse haters need to be quiet, actually pay attention and watch the games

Agreed Johan - Problem was Nurse had to do EVERYTHING on the back end with no legit '2nd' LHD on the roster. Most so-called 'fans' have zero clue about the game and what these players go through. They look at players like Hedman and Keith thinking they play 60 minutes a game. They don't realize that those players have (or had) legit dmen behind them backing them up and taking on tough minutes. Nurse was spending ALL his shifts against the best players in the world and made a lot more good plays then bad, but of course no 'fans' see the good plays, only the one or two 'bad' plays he makes and dump all over him. Who's that all star dman in Dallas - Heiskennan - he made a major gaff against the Oilers that resulted directly in a goal - but the fans thought it was a great play by the Oilers, not a gaffe by the Stars all star dman. @@KptKrunch9481 Hedman had McDonagh who was a defensive juggernut in the cup runs having the record for most shots blocked and also the youngster Sergachev who is a fairly capable defensemne to put it mildly so that's absolutely correct. Great so see Nurse thriving again so he can make up for that huge contract.

@@KptKrunch9481 excellent post. For some reason, people like to ignore that a guy like Hedman (who is legendary) has Sergachev and other excellent Dmen behind him. Keith had that in Chicago as well. ALL great Dmen do.
