This reminds me of a situation that I was in 2 years ago. I'd like to know a bit more of the details of Lasseter. When someone gets too high up that they lose a social support structure that's able to effectively correct them, that's an unhealthy situation. It's one thing if he was socially immature. But it's another thing if anyone told him, "stop" and then he didn't, or retaliated in some negative way. I can forgive someone who is immature or foolish, but if they don't apologize, or if they punish people that speak up against them, that's the major red flag. Those are the people that I have trouble trusting ever again, who I would say should get a "life sentence." I hope Lasseter isn't one of those people and has since apologized, given himself a good look in the mirror, and is actively working to change the person he was/is.

Robert Burnett voiced himself in some of the most intelligent, honest to himself and genuine way I've heard any of the movie YT personalities I watch in a long time. I too hope we can evolve from the online's culture of taking everything to the outrage degree. We need to understand we are all different, we were all raised differently, we each have different notions of what is appropriate and what isn't. We need to start to look at why are people acting the way they are and not if it lines up with our already established notions. At least that's why I too think. And Mr. Burnett did an amazing job voicing that. We all got things from the past to haunt us and thankfully, we all don't have as many public eyes on us to explode any minute.

From what has been reported I don't think he should have lost his job without warning and attempt to correct him. Unless there is something more.

I've been sticking to the main news stories for awhile on this channel and haven't heard about this from your past, John. This was the first time I heard about it and I'm sorry to hear about it. That past hurt is unimaginable, I'm so sorry to hear it.

The John Lasseter allegations are dumb scum stupid lies, why do I say that they are lies. Because obviously I think some from the Walt Disney Animation Studio did not want John Lasseter to be executive producer anymore, and another thing they did not want it to do that tradition of a squeaky clean character or good guy trickery and then later on you would find out it's the real villain. I mean we've seen that originally when it first started from Toy Story 2, and then we saw that in a couple of Disney animated movies from Walt Disney animation, such as Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph. I believe the staff at the Walt Disney Animation Studio, did not want it to put up with a new movie and its story to have a surprise villain near the end anymore. Which we also saw from zootopia. Because basically when John Lasseter was at the Walt Disney Animation Studio, he will always have them to have a squeaky clean character and then later on we are surprised and in shocked that the character is the real villain. I pretty much believe that the staff from Walt Disney Animation did not want it to continue that tradition in future Disney animated features, so all they had to do was just tell some lies to a Hollywood Reporter and maybe social media. So that way they can have their boss to be kicked out of Disney forever. I also believe from there that they want to try to make money off of him as well, and I believe in the end when they were accusing in line to John Lasseter, I do believe that he did pay some of the producers and animators of Disney animation. And another thing, because I totally believe that it's nothing but stupid lies against John Lasseter. John Lasseter knows that if he would do something inappropriate to anybody at Disney, his wife would divorce him and his two sons would not care for their dad anymore. I've seen so many documentaries of John Laster and he would show his family, and I could tell that he would never do anything to harm his family nor do anything inappropriate to Disney staff. and if any of that were to be done, you would obviously be John's fault and his family would not care for him if he crosses the line. I also believe that they are lying to John Lasseter with those stupid allegations, because the question is where are the victims ? Where are the animators and some of the other producers that are accusing him for inappropriate conduct ? Because so far I never scene any of the Disney staff come up and tell the truth about John Lasseter, so without it and without the truth being told. This is basically all bunch of bullcrap lies. I know one thing, Bill Cosby was accused by like 60 women. who are trying to tell the truth about who he really was behind everybody's back, it originally started with Hannibal Buress calling Bill Cosby a rapist. From there it caught fire and 60 women came forward and was trying to tell the truth about Bill Cosby and his private personal life. now Bill Cosby is behind bars and even paid the damages he did to those 60 women throughout his life and career, I was once a big fan of Bill Cosby because I love The Cosby Show, but now I feel betrayed and cheated buy a Superstar who was really a dark monster in his private life. because I really do believe that Bill Cosby really raped women. But for John Lasseter, where are the victims ? Because if this whole thing continues about John Lasseter allegations, I totally believe still to this day it's nothing but crappy lies. They just I want him out of the Walt Disney Animation Studio, and they just want his money. so obviously they got their wish, the staff from Disney Animation got who knows how many money, and John Lasseter left the building and will never come back. Oh and just to let you guys know, CEO Bob Iger had even said that one time John Lasseter made a joke to him, and showed his yin yang to Iger. I saw this from a mini documentary of the ABC News oh, so that means Bob Iger was obviously lying about John Lasseter as well, and just to let you guys know Bob Iger is trying to be a nice guy to the entire public. But Bob Iger behind the scenes hasn't been respectful to some Disney staff, Disney Resort & theme park cast members Etc. Bob Iger is hiding a dark secret behind everybody's backs, Bob Iger is really a secret and real Disney villain. I idolized Bob Iger at first but not anymore, Bob Iger is a real secret selfish money making machine he's not letting the entire Disney Company to make a buck. He is trying to take and steal some of that money all for himself, and not care about Disney personnel. So because I suspect and believe in all that, I really want Mr Iger to be kicked out from the Disney Company right away

I have mixed feelings about this. John Lasseter is still one of my influences in animation but his choices can be bad at times like Planes.

Doesn't matter if you're innocent or not. People play the victim and make allegations against you, and that's it. You're an irredeemable monster, and you deserve to lose everything you've worked for and more. And people are just fine with this insane and warped sense of so-called justice... He was never charge with anything and nothing that I've heard is criminal. I think Skydance is opening themselves to lawsuits if Lasseter does anything there. From a cold way I have to think as a business Skydance is taking the risk to get someone as talented and successful as Lasseter.

...and at 5:51 another HUGE issues comes out. The military...I have female friends who served and have PTSD from the inappropriate behaviors that were tolerated, condoned and endured. It's N.E.V.E.R. ok. I don't care if you're sitting on the Chiefs of Staff, or a new enlistee. It's not ok in the workplace.

Whether you think it was right or not A Person was fired from let's say directing a movie or hosting a big show because of horrible things they may have said in one case a few years ago but then you hire someone who DID things over a long period of time and they get hired to be the BOSS of loads of people? huh?

Ellison and Skydance are sending a TERRIBLE message by doing this - there's a big middle ground between a "life sentence" and just over a year for some one to reform themselves from literal DECADES of his sort of behavior.

I understand that Lasseter has a great record, and I understand the success he brought to Disney and Pixar, but at the same time, surely there are plenty of other people you could hire who has no bad behavior against them that could also do a good job?? Why do you need Lasseter, especially when this thing he did is still fresh on everyone’s mind? Why do you put him in the same position to oversee people that he got in trouble for before? That’s like purposely giving a pyromaniac a match. I don’t understand why they could not have taken this opportunity to hire some other talented people in the business rather than banking it all on Lasseter and giving him a position that he was fired from for those behaviors - why give him another work place to do the same and why now make people working at Skydance feel weird about Lasseter now coming after everything The timing just seems...so off
