Daniel Gilman, former RZIM Canada employee, tells Maggie John what happened when employees asked questions about allegations against Ravi Zacharias.
News that the late apologist had sexually abused women in different places around the world has left the family and organization heart broken. Daniel Gilman shares how listening to the women and staff who came forward years ago could have stopped more sexual abuse from happening.

They should have left the ministry then exposed it from the outside. I blame the so-called ministers for being Ravi’s shield.

Just saying, if you’re gonna touch your mask that many times, you’re better off without one. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Looks like it was corrupt from within. It needs to fall. Ravi, the first time I saw him, I knew there was something wrong and slowly people convinced me he was ok. Now I realize my instinct was right

We can see the glory of God in the fall of man, right from Eden God can't compromise sin.

I was duped by Ravi, I admit it; however the last two or three years of his life, I didn’t know why, but I stopped listening to him. This is so sad & grievous. I’m so thankful for John MacArthur, who has real discernment.

Ravi did speak openly about his back pain, how much he suffered with it; that was probably all true. I would not have been surprised if he had an addiction to heroin or some other narcotic. Being addicted to sex potentially ruins the lives of more people, but sin is sin. And it’s sad. If there’s a lesson we all can take to heart, it’s “never close your eyes at night without confessing your sin.” Then, if God gives you the grace of waking up one more day, forsake your sin.

It's quite interesting that all these employees say nothing when the sun is shining but as soon as the storm rages everyone comes out with statements, interviews, and so called organizational culture issues. If you're going to stand for truth do it during the good days as well as the bad ones.

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people- not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler-not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

So, so sad. We loved this organization, including the leadership team/speakers, and we spent years promoting their work, because it was life-giving. We desperately need Christians who lead with integrity, who are deep thinkers, articulate, and good communicators. So it's devastating to realize that these speakers we looked up to have made such poor choices. I feel more let down by them than I do by Ravi.

Church Leaders who don’t expect to be questioned on anything is a huge red flag 🚩. I think that’s the lesson to be learnt here. The signs were there all along but people didn’t notice because instead of having reverence for God they were revering man.
