WayV's focus this time is to promote this song in Korean music shows first before anywhere else, that's why they released the Korean version first and promote the Korean ver. internationally. FYI, WayV got their first win in Korean music show after 5 years since they debuted with this song so I'm so grateful that WayV members decided to choose different vibe for their title track. They had to choose between Give Me That & She A Wolf as the title track and the members chose Give Me That, but She A Wolf is more than PERFECT for a title track, too. I know you mostly react to title track MV only, but you SHOULD definitely listen to and watch WayV's She A Wolf Performance Video! Preferably react to it, too, hehe. This song sounds amazing and the choreography is PERFECT.

Winwins currently working as an actor in China but he had planned to be apart of the comeback so his filming would finish in time for album preparations but then SM brought the comeback date forward and basically just did him dirty

The thing about WayV is they can sell any concept and they’ll fully commit. Rock, hoe anthem, funky pop, heartbreaking drama, they can do it all!! I liked this comeback because WayV is such a fun group and they got to show off their fun side. For something more classic dramatic WayV, definitely definitely recommend She A Wolf performance video (it’s crazy). The album is so good too

I don’t listen to a lot from SM groups but On My Youth shook me and I’ve gotten more into WayV. They have their own style and I love their vocals. This song is poppy and cute and I will give it some plays but OMY, Phantom, PL, TO, TBT, BA, DO & MW are my faves. I have listened to She A Wolf multiple times and absolutely love the beginning, but then it seems like 3 different songs mashed into 1. I’ll see if it grows on me though. So glad you are back and posting your reactions again.

I love this comeback from WayV! While On My Youth is probably still my favourite track (xj vocals omg), this is so fun and fresh and it suits them really well! The whole mini album is incredible imo. WayV have been getting actual real Korean promotions this time, a studio choom, radio and their first music show win (after 5 years)! WayV's management was changed from neo to prism centre (with Shinee), and it's already made a big difference.

i'm very happy WayV is finally getting the recognition and promotion they deserve (+ their 1st ever win!!) but lemme just say how disappointing it is that they had to do their comeback in Korean for them to "earn" all of that i know it's probably not that deep, but it definitely tells something about the industry and nctzens in general

This song really reminds me of YangYang's and Ten's "Low Low" so in some way it wasn't too unusual, though I understand what you mean. WayV and SHINee are under the same management now, maybe that's why the vibe is a bit similar. Personally, it somewhat reminds me of 1of1!

would love to see you also react to she a wolf you’d love it. give me that was chosen because the members realize they’ve never promoted a happy song as a title track & they wanted that experience to just have fun on stage so i definitely get it cuz it’s so fun it’s a great song the vocals are beautiful and the rap is so good i love the lyrics and how it’s not a hard shift it goes together so well, she a wolf feels like an elevated step of their typical dark grand sound and i think it’s one of their best bsides. i couldve believed it to be the title track for sure. this mini feels like a double title track album lol. the other bsides as well allllll great and fresh sounding and although are all different they somehow blend to listen together well and lyrically go together which is nice to be more cohesive instead of a bunch of random tracks. i will say if you haven’t previously heard their albums in full (i know you said you did with omy) but they’ve always had the dark grand performance songs but they also have quite a few upbeat or light hearted tracks as well they definitely have a variety which i appreciate how well they can pull off everything. but i must say i have lovedddd this era they really made it their own and now that they’re under prism center things are turning around for the better treatment wise so i hope it continues. and as a huge shinee fan seeing give me that was written in part by kenzie i was pretty sure i’d love it this shinee x wayv crossover is my dream scenario as they are my fave groups to follow

WayV totally ate this up, their promotions this time is so full I'm so happy for them. Xiaojun's vocals always make it for me, I just love his voice so so much.

They chose this song because, I think, they also wanted to challenge themselves to some new vibe. Well, whatever their actual reason is, it's valid. Just that... I personally like She A Wolf a lot better. There's a performance video for that. Idk if you are willing to react to that, but give it a try, it won't hurt. Love this album so much, I really loved that WayV went for a very bright concept this time, it's nothing like the previous or any album they have done before, but if you know their personalities, they are so bright and cheerful characters, this song really matches their energy so well and they seem to really enjoy the promotion schedules and even achieved their first win on Korean music show. Everything seems like they've turned a new leaf and things are moving up and up for these talented boys after a long period of stormy rocky roads and uncertainty❤🧡💛💚💙

Yes this song is soo different from their other sounds. I also got into them during their On My Youth era and ngl Xiaojun sounding desperate during the bridge/chorus is what made me check out their discography and his parts are something else idk how to explain what that man does to me lol. Regardless I also think this comeback is fresh and bright. It suits them well, the choreography is fun to watch, the song is catchy and the mini album too. I'm glad they also got their 1st win (as they should I was baffled when I saw that info cause how did they not till now!??). Sad Winwin couldn't make it this come back due to his schedule. I would've loved to see how he'd sound in this music concept but as per usual we see you SM :/.

Regarding Winwin… Well, let’s say he is kind of “the Lay” for WayV. Already in the previous comebacks he did not always promote with them and he started to focus on his solo career outside the music realm more. Regarding the reason of Korean version being released first… Korean TVs prefer the artists to perform in Korean or English. People say in Korea performing in Chinese is banned, but I did not find any law saying this and besides the fact WayV used to perform in Chinese with their older songs a few years ago, they performed in Chinese again during the NCT 2023 Concert last year (although only with the older songs…, but still… there was no problem with that). So it is simply to present themselves good for the Korean media (although on online TV shows they performed in Chinese still…). In my opinion, I prefer language/location based NCT units to stick to the language they were supposed to be focused on. But since WayV are about to making music in Japanese as well and basically every NCT unit has done many language versions/original songs, it doesn’t matter anymore, I guess 😅😅 But at least this time they are trying to appeal to the Korean audience in Korean language and not in English as they did it with previous comebacks… (and in the case of Phantom the English version wasn’t even included in the mini album… so they were promoting with something which was not released nor about to be released 😅😅😅😅). And for the end… regarding the switch of their sound. SM has so called “centers” and each of these centers take care of different artists/groups. WayV used to be with the rest of NCT units in the “Neo Center”, but they were transfered into the “Prism Center”, where Shinee are under. So this probably explains those Shinee-like moments you noticed during your reaction.

I really like Give Me That and every time I listen to it I like it more, I also like that they're trying new things, but I won't lie, I prefer that "darker" side of WayV ❤ Anyways they're awesome, so I'm very happy that they won their first win in a music show and I'm very curious about their future 💚 I missed Winwin too 😢 Hope he can return in the next comeback!

They mention on their MV reaction that they didn’t want to be known as a melancholy group so for summer, they wanted to switch it up with something more bright because it was either between Give Me That or she a wolf, but they picked give me that for their title because they wanted to give us a different side of them with a brighter concept
