I don't know too much about the scoring and that, but Vaughn gittin was not better than Alex Heilbrun. no way I think that there didn't need to be a omt for grey and aasbo.....

Vaughn and Aasbo should have lost imo. Heilbrunn destroyed Vaughn during the first 2 runs. I don't see any reason to go for an omt. Grays first run was a bit sloppy, but he at least sticked to Aasbo and his second run was really good, putting a solid distance between him and Aasbo. Judges are a little too biased...

Just came back to watch the most unorganized FD of all time.

Not meaning to be "that guy" but the first run between Alex and Vaughn was bullshit. Should never of even gone OMT. Alex's chase run was solid and in his lead run Vaughn couldn't keep up. Whilst Alex's lead run in the OMT was sloppy, Vaughn completely straightened at the end of the bank whilst Alex still kept the angle. I swear there's a lot of favouritism in FormulaD USA. The Japan round so judged so much fairer.

The Gittin and Aasbo runs were a complete farce.. Judges keeping the runs going until their big money buddies can be brought through. Reminds me of all my local competitions around 2005. It was a shame that Mikes involvement had to end the way it did, especially after by far the best chase of the whole comp, but I actually agree about tyres having to last at least 2 runs. If they were allowed consume a new pair for a single pass, the tyre cost of competing would double making the whole thing even more money biased. Also the constant tyre changes would make the continuity of the show disappear..

what kind of stupid rule is that? its a drift even, not "how long will your tires last" event. the more smoke and the more you shred the faster you wear down the tires. how incredibly asinine is that. his run was incredibly aggressive and very entertaining to watch. then they just pull him out because of tires? whats going on here?

I hate FD sometimes. No matter how bad the energy drink guys do, (Vaughn Gittin, Frederic Aasabo, Chris Forsberg) they will win.... Mad Mike is the only guy who I consider good among the energy drink guys.....

It's just so hard to watch an event where you can see one a driver perform better, but because his opponent is more well known you can guarantee a OMT or the wrong driver win. The judging in this sport needs to be sorted out if it wants to become a worldwide spectacle.

Andrew Gray put up a great fight, a bit surprised that there was a OMT to begin with, looked like Aasbø was lagging behind more than Gray did which was at times very close to Aasbø. But if Gray continues like this, he'll definitely be one to watch out for.

Everyone is talking about the bullshit calls but I'm just here crying for Kristaps Bluss after he was crushed by the pressure. That could've been a CLEAN win by him but damn he took it too far.Maybe next time, maybe next time.

hey so i'm super late to the party but can somebody help me understand the actual criteria of winning? is it more like Touge Racing where you have to try to overtake your opponent or is it more like Monster Jam where you have to put on a good show with your car control and depending on how good you are the judges will score you?

Crazy to come to these years later to see the judges pushing big names like they do now... it's sad really. Aasbo and Gitten should have lost their first battles. Now they're pushing Fields, dude gets OMT's until he actually wins or someone just rams their car into his.
