My biggest piece of advice for new Airman or anyone joining the military would be to have the meaning and purpose as to why you’re joining solidified. If you don’t have those two fundamentals set in stone for yourself you’ll find yourself lost more often than not. Make the most out of every situation and don’t let yourself become isolated from everything around you. Make new friends and build connections. Don’t give up on any dreams you have and never let opportunities pass you. Aim High 🙌

Thank u so much.. I have been scrolling relentlessly trying to find video footage of Ft. Leonard wood.. I was there back in 1985. Army. Engineer Clerk.. Headquarters 4-4.. I discharge from there and ending my Career with a Honorable discharge.. I think of this place often and would love to just come back and look around.. so I thank u for this happy moment and opportunity to glance around a bit.. I will be looking for ,more of the same from others that has served there.. Once again, thanks.. I know this video is at least 3yrs old. lol. but its okay.. Best of luck with your career. .

What's up, It's a year later and I'm watching your video because my son is a marine doing his mos at fort leonard wood.

I went to Basic Training and AIT at Fort Leonard Wood in 97. When I was in AIT we share some of our training with the Marines and Air Force. The Army and Marines ruck march to and from our training area. We saw the Air Force pulling up and getting out of an Air Conditioned Bus. That moment I said to myself Why in the Hell did I join the Army...hehehe!

Just left flw a couple months ago i remember when we were marching to chow there was colored poweder all over the ground.

I was working at the dining facility at the time lol. Everyday at 5.30 in the morning feeding boys and girls soldiers eggs, 2 sausages, potatoes, 2 biscuits and gravy or cream of wheat lol 🤣🤣 I miss those days.

Ahh good ol Ft Lostinthewoods, I was there for my marine MOS school back in May-Sep 2017, the barracks were in were old but we made the best out of it till we moved across the street when we picked up classes and had the college dorm barracks, ain’t gonna lie it was a vibe and I had a blast from the rivers at happy hollows to going off post with my classmates, the specter gym was the best gym on post, good times there 😎👌

I am joining air force this year but I am a bit nervous and shy because I am a Filipino and I was in US now for 3 years. I have a 4 year college degree. I don't know if I can socialize like you do because I am an introvert maybe if that's the word because i never leave my computer I only talk in discord with my friends haha. And also I am scared because what if they make fun of my accent. I am currently working out and reviewing for ASVAB now. I hope I will meet some good people out there.
