Wildfires are burning across parts of Western Canada. In B.C., flames are continuing to threaten Fort Nelson and the nearby Doig River First Nation, forcing thousands of evacuees to seek shelter in Fort St. John, about 380 kilometres away. Wildfires are also affecting regions in Manitoba, Alberta and Northwest Territories.
