In this episode we explore the Sundance Square area of downtown Fort Worth, check out what Fort Worth Central Station has to offer, and travel on the Amtrak Texas Eagle from Fort Worth to Austin, Texas.
We start the day by checking out of the Hampton Inn and Suites in downtown Fort Worth and exploring what Main Street has to offer. We’ll also check out Sundance Square, the Tarrant County Courthouse, and the JFK Memorial before returning to Fort Worth Central Station.
We’ll see what Fort Worth Central Station has to offer in addition to Amtrak such as hourly trains to DFW airport and Dallas Union Station, and metro bus connections within Fort Worth.
Then it’s time to board the Amtrak Texas Eagle for our trip back to Austin, Texas. We travel south from Fort Worth, through rural Central Texas near my hometown and back to the Austin Amtrak station before taking an Uber back to my parked car at the Austin airport.
