This is sad to see that no love is given to the ai. This game would be so amazing if it was not for the stupid bad ai. I can make better ai in unreal engine and I am a noob with blueprints.

@@ToluenowyDorsz unfortunately, the natives lack any common sense at all times. You can clearly be in front of them and they could see you. but if you’re 20 feet away they won’t do anything about it. or you’ll kill one of their buddies with an arrow from a distance and they’ll have no reaction at all.

After numerous years of playing, it's disappointing to observe that the tribal warriors still lack certain essential AI capabilities-they struggle with climbing ladders, fail at executing effective ambushes, and display an inability to swim. These shortcomings significantly detract from the overall immersion of the game. Similarly, the predator behavior leaves much to be desired. During extensive gameplay, I couldn't help but notice that jaguars consistently spawn uncomfortably close, practically appearing out of thin air just a few meters behind the player. This issue became particularly apparent when I established a camp near a supposed safe spot, only to find that it was continuously spawning animals and resources, disrupting the intended gameplay experience.@@ToluenowyDorsz

@@Atilolzzyes. 30 seconds into the video he said they made changes to the AI and they were unnoticeable while showing an NPC running in a circle…

The rope thing on trees is glitch. I have it too, and im pretty sure everyone has. I noticed that it like.. spawns the ropes there sometimes if you run next to it, but sometimes not. Also, few times i have just turned around and back, and then there been finally some rope

finally, I've used Leaves Stands as they are cheapest for the first hit to protect much more expensive structures😅 also bees in my Beehives around the base should sting intruders😅

I have been following the development of this game for so long, and I still see the same bugs from years ago without being fixed! - Plants that respawn in the same spot inside of each other (along with other items as well). - Sporadic sounds of items falling into the water when there is nothing near rivers/lakes. - Items that penetrate the ground and move frantically without stopping. - Mud chests that disappear with newly placed items inside. - Constant FPS drops even with a good computer (due to various items/plants forgoten and left on the ground?) - Jaguar and Puma AI that occasionally gets stuck in the middle of some of my constructions or in the game environment itself. There are so many ignored problems (and it's not for lack of reporting and support tickets)!

no surprise on the bugs just no hope they cant fix the issues, i'm having frame drops on the console version ps5

Great vid, very sad that they are not fixing the ongoing problems the game has, if they fixed it the game would be absolutely amazing! (its still pretty good as it is on ps5 tho). I hope u can continue to play this game as u r my favourite GH ytber and ur vids have helped me so much! Also not to mention the base vids are awesome and so is the music. You should REALLY give The Long Dark a go, it has no base building which just leads to the problems GH has, no BS and its just an amazing survival experience. 10/10 highly recomended!

Still haven’t had the full treehouse update yet got tree houses on ps but no lift or sled yet yet another update on way lol 😂

Hi hermit did u noticed any fps increase? Because map from sprits of amazonia has low fps than first map.

My fps is also a lot lower in the new map areas, Developers didn't put any effort into it.

⁠@@Just_a_Piano_the building update came out a month ago on consoles, we have tree house and water platforms and all that. Consoles are now just missing the storage/transportation update and this new fortifications update

Hello! How do you handle exploring and gathering resources far from your base? My bag is always full but also need essentials like bandages, antivenom, food, etc. I feel like every time I find something new, I don’t have space. You can’t even carry a few things in your hand which is unrealistic. Any advice?

All you "need" on hand is: Blade. Spear. 1 coconut bowl. 2 tobacco bandages. 4 normal bandages. Spare rock. Some maggots. A bidon. Everything else you can source on the move pretty easily. Especially food. If you don't trust your aim, you can opt for 2 spears or a bow and no more than 5 arrows. You could make an axe if you want to chop trees better. You'll probably find bones to make bone tools, including an axe. If you need fats, energy, or parasite removal, just locate the nearest big tree. If you're dirty and not near water, and it's dry season. First of all, oof. Second, use the coconut bowl with water from the bidon to cook your meats/bones. You're unlikely to get food poisoning unless you mess up, and even if a wound gets infected you'll have maggots to deal with that. You can live with a rash but venom is dangerous, so tobacco bandages.

Hey, I got a question if anyone can answer it. I’ve had this game for awhile but never got this far (being able to get mud construction). My question is, when I try to place a mud wall, I didn’t know I needed a regular wall after I looked it up. However the recipe is not there in the notebook. Did they like remove it, is the game just bugged, or something else.

I don't know if I understood right away, but to build a mud wall, you need, first of all, to collect mud from any river, and then the recipes will be available for you. Now, the game has added the option to build wood/bamboo walls too (which is much easier and cheaper to build)
