I respect your opinion, but honestly, this is one of the most rejuvenating seasons since Chapter 3 Season 1, alongside OG. I'm having a lot of fun this chapter, but I can see the other side's complaints are kinda justified. It's probably because Chapter 4 was kinda boring, but I love this season.

i think a lot of the changes they made are *objectively* good, but they are not good inside of fortnite. its becoming a new game entirely and not the game i expect to play when i open the game

So basically you don't like chapter 5 because it's not OG. Yeah, that's pretty much what all the OG diehards say about every season excluding OG and chapter 1. This isn't new. Just because you are unwilling to see the good things about the new seasons, that doesn't mean they don't exist. First of all, the new POIs are beautiful and are a stark contrast to the copy pasted OG locations we get every other season. Personally, I am sick of seeing Tilted Towers every single chapter. Seriously Epic, just let it stay gone for a change. The new items and game tweaks aren't "bad." It just takes a bit to get used to them. Plus with the mechanics you said should've been added years ago, instead of being happy they are implemented, you're just complaining that they weren't in sooner. Pick a lane, man. The colab skins are more than just a product placement from a large corporation, it is an inclusion of a beloved character from a variety of different medias coming together in this epic game. In fact, ignoring the bigger picture of all these IPs in one game, as well as the new game modes added in, is just dishonoring what fortnite has become, and will continue to grow as. Not strictly a battle royal anymore. It's become so much more than that. If you can't see that, that's your problem. Me and the other casuals can enjoy the game without the OG sweats of the past. One last thing. Come on, dude. It's a video game. You sound like Epic murdered your father or something. If you don't like it that much, stop playing it. I really doubt your youtube channel is gonna suffer or improve whether you play it or not.

The reason this season actually is good is because every match can feel different. You can win in a bunch of different ways and can go about it in a variety of ways to get to end game. Is it easier to win with medallions? Sure. Is it absolutely necessary? No. You can make each match be the way you want it to be. Don’t like the train? Then don’t bother with it. Don’t like scopes? Use iron sights. Just because it’s harder doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it.

As much as i wanna be nice I think most people can agree that chapter 5 season 1 was great And for me personally this season brought me back to fortnite Consistently playing Way better than this mid ass season we have rn

Saying its a terrible chapter is a HEAVY statement, i could get it, but not really, the only complaint i have is the movement, which ive learned to just not care about due to the game having alot of other ways to get around, such as launchpads flow berries grapple gloves shockwaves etc, and the scopes and bullet drop are cool, and theres definitely not "no new content" theres so much to explore in fact it took me around 4 days to explore every part of the map, the mechanics, the weapons, the scopes, the new bullet drop, the bosses medallions, and it has been one of the best weeks of enjoyment ive had in a while other then last month throughout the entirety of season og. And besides, its not even 2 weeks into the season, theres still so much more to come, in terms of updates, collabs, winterfest, the lego mode and the other modes still can be updated in the future, the game is amazing and to say its terrible is insane, then again its your opinion, so no hate, just sayin.

The reason fortnite decided to add scopes to weapons & modifications to all the weapons is to experiment. And the movement is the same, the only thing that changed was the animation. The only reason you feel slower in this season is because the animation looks slower. Im tired of people saying the game is bad because they want to experiment and improve on new elements, one of the reasons why hurdling was removed and re-added over 5 times was because they were trying to make it work and it was buggy as hell everytime, now that they fixed it and got it to work and not launch you across the map. its a simple 2 choice outcome. either play the game, and enjoy its content. Or leave the game and play something else.

I'm not big fan of scope shotguns movement is pretty meh but chapter 5 map is pretty good idk why you said it's bad new lego mode is fun also rocket racing is gonna be fun and music one overall good chapter

First person I found Having the same opinion as me. Lego, Festive mode, Rocket Racing mode has RUINED Fortnite! It's not a battle royal game anymore sad :(

Background music in the beginning was too loud. ur right about battle royal. Shit is dog water compared to last season. Everything else is fire though. Lego fortnite better than battle royal Also, 2:33 mute the trailer sound so your voice can be the focus. :)

The chapter would be good without all the NPCs, too much of a movement change and overly realistic graphics. Fortnite needs to stick to it's cartoony artstyle. That's what made it uniquely beautiful. I do like the colors and stuff this season but the graphics are kind of irritating? And screw the turrets in every major POI. You're fighting someone and all of a sudden WEEWOOWEEWOO, sentry starts shooting at you, NPCs rush in and it's all too chaotic. All fortnite needs is a simple map, not too many NPCs or at least not have NPCs in more than one major POI. Look at chapter 2 season 2, why was it so successful? Because it wasn't an overdose on NPCs. POIs with NPCs had like.... 5 of em i'd say and then a boss. And there weren't crazy turrets everywhere. I believe only near the vault, which you could then destroy or barricade yourself from or wear a disguise. The maps needs to be simple, just like chapter 2, but with good colors like chapter 1 unlike whatever the hell they did with chapter 2 and 3. Idk colors looked odd. Fortnite doesn't need huge RTX perfect lumen global illumination and 16k HD textures. No, textures are fine how they were years ago and overall look of the map was perfected in chapter 2 imo. Don't know why they keep pushing it with UE5 so much. The weapons are fine, I think they add good depth, I never really liked bloom so 100% accuracy is cool with me.
