The fact that one of the main reasons that Epic Games are still going because of their massive sales on fortnite skins and they just ban half of them in age restricted games, making people’s hundreds, if not thousand of pounds/dollars have just gone to waste if those are the games that people play is just appalling to me… I understand why they did this, but I think a could have been executed it bit better

How to fix/make this better or how it should've been: Instead of restricting people from using there favorite skin they could've easily gone: ''Hm. You know. I like this idea but do you know what could make it better? Have it so that if you are using an age restricted skin in a low rated map why not... just make them appear as the default skin to the other player?'' And then cue that one epic employee's thought being ignored.

One of my problems with the being punished for voice chat is for the fact that me and my nephew usually talk crap to one another. Nothing we say is meant to be taken serious but we say pretty offensive things that apparently even got us in trouble on Modern Warfare 3 ( keep in mind this is only in friends chat only) 🤦

Also with OG Season The amount of Xp you can earn in creative map is greatly reduced. Sometimes I play red vs blue for xp and get 4-5 levels but now I barely get any xp.

Yeah play the actual Battle Royale to gain Xp. There is NO reason you should be gaining as much Xp or even more in Creative than Battle Royale

They better refund every person the amount of vbucks they've spent in the store for items that don't meet the lowest age restriction.. or... Just simply make the game an overall base rating that covers everything at a slightly more mature level.. it's not going to stop anyone from playing it.. Almost all kids now days play games that they aren't supposed to based off age restrictions.. And if you're parents don't let you then too bad, wait to get older and then play it like a lot of other kids have had to do for decades..

Fortnite shouldn’t be aloud to ban skins form maps because when you purchased things before this update It didn’t say you can’t use this skins in certain maps I play a lot of creative and I can’t you most of my favorite skins this really pissed me off because I spent a lot of money on this game and a lot of the stuff I can’t even use in creative this game is rated r for teen so they shouldn’t change the game for younger audiences

Many of these skins seem to be unusable due to them possessing gun holsters and stuff as part of their outfit which sounds incredibly dumb in a game advertised to have guns and stuff.. also a kid could easily just hop in the item shop and be able to see those unusable skins

The fact that the skins with stuff like guns and knives are restricted for creative maps that are 10+ or below IN A TEEN GAME.. It even applies to loading screens and music, stuff YOU can only see/hear...

i see the that the weapons who was been unvaulted make sense cause the OG season "reminds" as the old good days but we need to remind that Fortnite has his own "campaign" probably this weapons are coming from the rift from the time machine same as the grapplers spawning around the map, probably the rocket will open another space-time rift to season 5.

the polar peak we got is polar peak after the monster broke out of the ice, if you remember the monster had the castle on its back which is why its not present now.

It's all due to a much larger question regarding censorship, which really finds its roots in religious dogma (imo, what ratings systems worldwide individually have stemmed from). To me its opening a can of worms that is a larger socio-political issue that is two millenia in the making. They got to play their cards right for sure, but they're subject to the system they exist within

I still don’t get the outrage about the age-restricted skins. Almost every creative map in existence is rated T because of guns so this change will effectively do nothing. Although it would still be nice if they just made it so younger players see a default while older players see the actual skin.

The live event for this season is gonna be hosted on UFEN as an E rated experience, The new Racing gamemode they've been working on gor over 1.5 years will be E rated, The open qorld gamemode is set to be E10+ and The game itself is rated T. Its just bullshit 🤷

Why is everyone surprised at certain things not being in the game and things that arent from Chapter 1 are in OG? Its because of the story of Fortnite right now. They are messing with time. Even Sloane says that whatever Jonesy does in the past will send ripples. Whatever hes doing is messing with stuff that we know and love and causing intersections in time.

For anyone wondering- the age rating stuff only pops up when you select a mode that's rated E10+ (all the default modes are still teen) The skins that are restricted all have guns, ammunition, or grenades somewhere in their outfit design (agent peeley has a gun strapped to his boot, never noticed that lol) So basically, stuff we can just ignore, and it actually makes sense lol I mean, Scribblenauts was allowed to have guns as an E10 game, but whatever XD

I have found the pattern with the skins, back blings and other cosmetics being blocked. It appears to be anything clearly demonstrating demonic themes, visceral/gory appearance, and weapons (guns, grenades, and bullets). I find them blocking skins with weapons appalling as the game is based around all of these weapons and blocking these cosmetics in these game modes does not stop the exposure of weapons to children, it just makes the people who have these cosmetics annoyed. Hopefully this comment catches someone's eye and I'd like this to be put somewhere where people can see it. Hopefully the message gets to Epic Games and they change their decision. Thank you for your time.

One part of the update missed in this video is that epic removed the ready up button. Now if you want play a new match after you die you have to go back the lobby. It's serves no purpose and is just a inconvenience.
