those Hueys aren't Vietnam Hueys... those are Venoms which were made many years later. Hueys in the 60s were two bladed both up top and the tail rotor and it had only one exhaust not two... it was the two bladed rotors that gave the Huey it's iconic thump sound as it flew. the quad rotor made it not as noisy

The 7.62mm Minigun was a rare sight in Vietnam. The problem was that they tried to scale down a full sized M61 20mm and ran into a lot of issues on the helicopter mounted version. The gun has reliability issues if it couldn't get the power it needed at the amps needed which wasn't a problem for large aircraft. That and the cost are why the vast majority of helicopters used the M60 as a door gun and the duel mounted, pilot controlled version on the gunships. A thin skinned Huey with underslung, gimbled miniguns is a hell of a pipe dream and something you would NEVER see. On a side pod in a fixed mount? Sure. Huey's were VERY vulnerable to ground fire. An AK47 would have no problem punching through the windows, floor, or sides with ease. The pilots all wore heavy early ceramic rifle proof plates on their front and back. Often they mounted them under the seat too. A Hind? A fucking HIND?! 7.62mm would bounce off of that thing like it was nothing. The Vietnamese didn't have any of those. That would show direct Soviet involvement. If they did have any those thing would have torn our troop apart. They would have made easy prey of ANY Huey out there including the gunships. Only the Cobra had a chance and that's only if it has the wing mounted 20mm or (at the time) experimental nose mounted 3 barrel 20mm kit. Even .50 BMG AP rounds have a hard time bringing a Hind down.

One thing I hate about COD games now is how quite and dull everything is... incoming fire just sounds dead and flat as if they've purposefully made them sound shit, in post editing walking around the FOB sounded lifeless, there's Cobras flying overhead, logi trucks whipping about, Huey's taking off and grunts all around shooting the shit, but all you hear is nothingness, absolutely kills the game immersion in my opinion.

Don’t you just love it when the game makes it very obvious when it’s taking control away from the player with the awkward and abrupt jerking putting you into the perfect position for the cutscene?

the choppers have 4 blades on the main vertical lift rotors, but the hueys had on 2 during the Vietnam war. With that said, the Bell 412EP helicopters where the first to have 4 main rotor blades which came in production in 1981, so their about 12-14 years ahead of schedule.

Listen, I know CoD has been a dumpster fire ever since BO4 came out, even though I really enjoyed BO4. But still, when it comes to gameplay, gun feel and gun play, animations and overall audio and environment, you just really can't beat it. I mean the fast paced guns blazing blood splattering gameplay is just so fucking good. I love CoD campaigns. And I really love the way guns feel in CoD games. I will always be a fan because of some core mechanics. Just wished they released full games, and wished they took their time. I hate Activision.

Crazy to think this takes place a month after the events of black ops 1, who knows what happened to mason after the ending, but least we know the hunt for Perseus was on after black ops 1

If this were truly realistic, not only would the Hueys not have four rotor blades, but also the M-16s would be jamming up like crazy.

I love how I'm not the only one that hates this game for the historical problems like those helicopters aren't from that time, they never had mini guns they only used m60's back then and so many other things like outfits not being accurate so on

Players really need to do a side by side with an action film. Computer / console graphics do not look real. They look like computer/console graphics. Are they detailed? Yes. Do they look real? no.

The only thing I object here is the Huey. An anachronistic Huey that looks like a UH-1Y Venom in the Vietnam War. I can understand it being used in the 1980s because its real life comparison the Bell 412 which is a 4-bladed Huey entered service in 1981 and the events of Cold War takes place in 1982. So it makes sense. The Vietnam part, not really. But who would care anyways, I'm just pedantic like James May.

everyone is talking about the inaccuracies of the weapons/vehicles in the game but honestly I believe they' re put there intentionally. As we later find out Bell (our main character) had all of these "memories" planted in him. He never experienced the vietnam war so the innaccruate choppers and certain weaponry dont seem to raise suspicion that he's been brainwashed. He doesn't question anything within the time period because the whole point was that these memories needed to be PRESENT not accurate. As the player WE are supposed to question why certain things seem off because as mentioned we later find out Bell had been implanted with these memories that never happened. It's a nice way of hinting to the player that something is off and perhaps we aren' t who we claim we are and neither are our "allies".

Wow not bad... Nothing will ever beat Crysis Warhead never ever anything will top that game or Far Cry 1 ... for villain's.. Dr Older Battlefields were just top.. insane fun.... on line wake Island I could lose myself in that game forever.

This mission reminds me of the codm 2nd Anniversarry event where you have to shoot enemies while in a helicopter escaping the new br map Blackout.

Weird stuff in the game, Venoms in Vietnam War and 20 rounds M16 Mag with Magical 30 rounds in it and the other BS Makes sense because all of this were Fabricated Memories only Unless they did fucked up the accuracy of the era
