I like how she notices our eyebrows from the disguise booth. Really great how all the videos fit perfectly as a whole story.

she has a way of saying certain phrases that is very peculiar and pleasant at the same time: "it´s not important,it´s not important,it´s not important", "you´ll sleep LIKE A BAABY" and "secret pockets,HOW SMAART" .I love it.

Confession: I have stopped trying to understand the plot a long long time ago. I just enjoy the exquisite videos, which are so so very well made.

I like that she potentially sees right through us and what we're up to and instead of being alarmed by whatever she's seeing she's just like "huh cool let's hang out"

So cool! At 14:15 she's talking about the "let me in" video, where we face a vampire on our window, and even though the vampire tried to manipulate us into letting it in, in this video she gave us a special potion for these types of creatures. So cool how every episode is connected. Beautiful work!

after watching the present-day spy videos IT ALL MAKES SENSE. - in the "private jet" episode, agent orange (my placeholder name for anastasia's present-time character lol, the "orange friend" mentioned here) gives our next assignment: to meet a "ground contact" who we've met before and give them a box. this video shows almaase (the fortune teller) to be that ground contact, and she apparently asked agent orange (and therefore VSB, the agency we're part of) for the device in the box. so almaase knows about VSB and even works with them, and is also connected to el-rah (the elven runes in the sheheron/seahorse box, the message delivered through the mirror at the end). - agent orange tells us that VSB received an encrypted message from lady anna's father. in the victorian timeline she says that he is either dead or missing, but agent orange says that he has been "kept" in el-rah for 150 earthly years. here we see almaase decrypt the message, which is a haiku by matsuo basho and apparently very famous in japan, as other commenters have pointed out (the more you know!). its meaning and composition is more complex than the english translation would have you think, so i'm personally not sure what anna's father was trying to convey. it may become clearer in future episodes. - almaase admits that she told anna more about us than she was supposed to, but in the belief that "the wrong words might lead to the right results." she says that anna was already beginning to suspect something anyway, and rewatching the train video (vol. 7 in the victorian series) we can actually kind of see that, though anna hasn't asked about it or even treated us any differently. i don't think we're allowed to tell her about her father; we're agents on a mission, after all. - after decrypting the message, almaase guesses that we're confused about "what's been and what is", which is maybe referring to the order that videos are uploaded in (as expected, even the schedule plays a part in anastasia's story). - in the first present-day video ("pulling spy bugs out of your hair") agent orange asks if we've seen a dragon in el-rah. in this video almaase uses a dragon candle as one of the "knots" in her decrypting ritual. guys...i think anastasia is rendering a dragon in unreal engine rn. - the secret pockets almaase notices at the beginning are almost definitely the same ones we had made in the elven blacksmith video. that same video might've also foreshadowed the ending of this one, since the blacksmith accidentally took out a scroll from her storage that wasn't hers (maybe it was the same scroll as here?? but the timeline definitely wouldn't make sense). the "unauthorized hacking" the message is talking about is probably almaase's decryption of the message, so unfortunately she is in trouble. i am even more intrigued about the story now, which is saying something because i was already thinking of fanfiction about this series. almaase is directly involved in 3 timelines? are we going to look for anna's father in el-rah? will we see a dragon????

omg I just realized that the potion that the fortune teller gave us made us dream that vivid dream in ladies, vampires, theatre and more video. It's so cool how the potions worked in a different video

Basho's frog poem! Apparently its genius lies in the fact that in the original Japanese, the frog dives into the sound of the splash rather than into the pool.

I am convinced she is an eternal time traveler using this channel as a means to show us her many travels across the centuries spanning her many many lifetimes.

When she walked behind the curtain I literally gasped!!! Your production never fails to amaze!

The audio mix is wonderful, with the background voices, singing, horses, clock chimes… while the foreground vocals are full yet crisp-very immersive and brilliant for the close-your-eyes-and -fall-asleep wanderers among us, thank you.

What I liked the most, or at least what caught my attention the most, were the candles, specifically the one in the shape of Baba Yaga's house and the one in the shape of Baba Yaga herself when she flies on her mortar. or pot, it's those little details in which I feel the effort on the part of Anastasia, you can see that she makes her videos with a lot of love and dedication.

This episode contains so many references to previous ones. In addition to Anastasia's prompts there are others. For example 1:43 is a reference to blacksmith, 7:20 to episode with house on chicken legs, seahorses everywhere and scroll from another timeline at 27:00 (El Rah is a name of this area in medieval era according to lore).

YES! Fortune teller is one of my favorite characters ever since she read our palm on the train. I was hoping she’d make a reappearance!

Your set design at the beginning is so stunningly beautiful, I assumed it had been done with green screen because it looked too amazing to be real... so when you walked away from the camera at 5:27 I actually gasped out loud. Your talent is unbelievable!!

The personality difference between the characters is amazing.

I just love Anastasia. She's got such an eye for detail, creates beautiful worlds, and is herself beautiful. I see some people try to do this stuff and the lighting of where they film doesn't usually fit the scene. Anastasia always gets this right. And more often than not I can never tell what's real or what she created in Unreal engine lol.

Really incredible writing, there's something so intriguing about the way these characters ramble and speak without context, you feel like you're peeking into a real world that you don't know anything about.

I love this!! It's so extremely well made, I'm really amazed. I was so fascinated by the fortune teller in the train episode, even though she appeared for several minutes. It was so thrilling and heartwarming to see her again! Aesthetic like this, something mysterious but through a folklore human perspective of fortune tellers was always the most soothing to me. Also, the fact that it's different kinds of "magical" plus modern espionage happening? Incredible storytelling. I also really liked a little detail how after the first time seal was opened the candle on the moon-shaped candle holder went a little back in time. And that the fortune teller herself felt a little playful and perhaps cunning (due to playing with stereotypes about money), but became more serious and personal as the meeting progressed. She talked to us as a friend and gave another potion to protect us from "creatures" just because she decided we might need it. After she received a letter, we can judge by her reaction that even though she was a little disappointed, she probably knew what the consequences would be and went with it anyway, which is nice and somehow comforting. I can't mention the quality of sound, props and visual effects which gave me a lot of relaxation. Thank you!!!!

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited to see this character again! I was so hypnotized by her on the train. Her charisma is off the charts. She might give Angelica a run for her money as my favorite character of yours.

It is amazing how she makes out all character's features. Her wordsare polite and pleasent but there is dome cunningness and foxiness in it. Her money interactions magnetic, hou can see how her eyes glow a bit more when she fells real banknotes. Stunning❤❤❤
