After watching your video on the front fender, I was looking at my Freewheeler front fender. I like it because it wraps tight around the tire. The front end of the Freewheeler is a Road King. So it might fit. Food for thought :-)

Badass man. I went for the road glide standard in reef blue for the same reasons. I threw a zipper 468 bolt in cam in it and with just a screaming eagle tuner I’m pushing 106 hp and 119 torque from the 107. I want to put in a thundermax and take it to the top before I go the big bore route. I look forward to this build you’re doing

The carbon fiber looks nice. I think it may come out if there are other carbon fiber accents on the final build. It ties in with the performance bagger style. It’s clear you are going for that look. Try it out….. it doesn’t have to be permanent…..

John, strangely enough I got the Hogworkz liners a few weeks back. I love them, but the bags no longer lock unless I'm supposed to move the washer between the liner and the lock? Right now its on the inside of the liner which I thought made the most sense because of the liner hole, but they no longer lock like they did without liners. Was at OC Bikefest and they kept getting loose. Am I missing something?

I like the front fender and you going all in on the performance bagger. The tour pak serves a purpose but I’m sure that thing will be popped off when you get places. Also, leave it carbon fiber. That way people know.

I have a solo tourpak mount. It only works with a solo seat. It will rub on almost any passenger seat setup. It changes the look allows for nice back support and the bike handles better when loaded down over the two up setup loaded. I prefer the two up setup but it’s cool also.

I have the solo mount for my street glide. The Saddlemen seat will work but the bolts do leave dents on the top of the passenger area. Having a solo seat makes it easier to take the tour pack on and off. Also, getting an extended reach seat helps line you up better with the tour pack backrest.

Hey John, Love the carbon fiber in terms of the weight reduction but not so much the look of carbon fiber itself. If it was my bike, would do carbon fiber for the fenders and bags to reduce the weight but do a bad ass paint job like silverback. love the videos!
