dude my audio wont come through at all besides on cutscenes, even then it doesnt have the voice overs. just the car sounds when i use a speaker it comes through.. just not any headphones that have enhancements in sound/my device/properties/enhancements

Yep ive had the same 48000/24bits and no audio

Just got it working. i had my headphones at the 4800/24bits studio and when i plugged my speakers and they are running on 2- channel, 16 bit 48000hz dvd or something but it works now

i think its fucked for sound cards, I don't have a sound card and this worked for me

@@amaybhandari demo probably has the same issues it had since launch, they never bothered to fix it because its not the main game I guess. It's not an issue in the main game though. I recommend just getting gamepass and giving them a try that way instead

enable audio enhancements and setting it to 24 19x xxxhz fixed mine, and a reboot

You're right. I've replaced my X-FI because of the issues. Now I'm using a Soundblaster Z and the demo works perfect.

no audio at all? Yea that's not the same issue as this, this is an audio bug where it sounds distorted as shit

When we press "play", the Windows store is open, so just close windows store while the game runs that the sound works. I fix doing this!

do you have a 3rd party anti virus running in the background? Like AVG, Avast, Norton etc etc. If so then uninstall it and make sure windows defender is on, 3rd party anti viruses are pretty useless nowadays tbh

yup, almost certain that's the reason tbh. Back when Horizon 3 came out I tried to play the PC version and like you said it would launch and crash on startup and I asked around and then in some comments on some KZfaq videos some people said it was a 3rd party anti virus that was causing the issue and they told me to just use windows defender if I'm too afraid of getting a virus and it basically changed my entire perspective on 3rd party anti viruses, that they're a bunch of scammers. But yea no joke, uninstall your 3rd party anti virus and make sure windows defender is on and start Horizon 4 and bam no more crashing

yeah, so ive went through everything and made sure no 3rd party antivirus was running through and still wont launch without crashing, my specs should be able to run this game on ultra and I still cant even run the game without it crashing on the turn10 screen. im not too sure what else is there to do.

hmm thats very odd, I'd say look up on the forza forum if anyone else is having the same issue, btw did you completely uninstall the anti virus or just disabled it?
