There are 3 types of movements quartz, mechanical and automatic. Quartz is battery powered, mechanical needs to wound and an automatic watch winds itself with the help of a rotor.

Ya its not swiss but Chinese Movement! I own an Invicta Pro Divers i got it just because it had a Seiko NH35....u must check it out...But 13k for a Fossil Made in china...heart breaking

@@piyush2776 finally found out that it is probably made in China (Fossil officials don't give an exact answer). Nevertheless i bought this and it works fine
