Dude, I looked up fossils and archeology to relive some nostalgia, not realize it got yet ANOTHER revival! This actually put a smile on my face, this mod was such a big part of my childhood, and I can’t wait to try it again. Good luck to those working on it, rooting for you 🫡

@@Helix..I mean to be fair they have 4 terror bird species, so hadrosaurs won't hurt- At least Hadrosaurs have a distinguishing feature, being their head crests.

To add on this, they took the old uninteresting "terror birds" and make them all distinct and not just four generic carbon copies, as well as the four birds each being from four distinct lineages that lived in different places at different times. @@hidanoftheakatsuki1268

This mod is incredible, very beautiful, not that it's necessary, but I think it would be cool to have the Herrerasaurus in this mod, because it's big and looks like the velociraptors from Jurassic Park, or the Utah raptor, but it's just a suggestion, congratulations on the beautiful mod

this is great!! i love the models. i think what's missing is probably some more big named dinosaurs like Argentinosaurus, Edmontosaurus, either one of the three large famous carcharodontosaurs and Utahraptor.

I can’t wait to spend way too much time creating enclosures for these guys and naming them after book characters. I’m not a nerd!(who am I kidding I’m a huge nerd) but seriously, this looks incredible and I can’t wait to see where it goes💙

I hope the revamp comes sometime within the next year, hopefully there aren't too many papers within that time. It just feels like they're constantly revamping things instead of actually updating.

I do love many of the new additions and Redesigns. Tho I do have some concerns and personal nit picks. One is that, certain animals can be too similar to the other or aren’t as out standing. Like the Alberta, nasuto, posto, neuque, masiaka, Oryc, Ubano and such And personally some redesigns and recolors can feel a lil too over detailed than they have to be. Cause I do want the designs to still hold some simplicity to blend with Minecraft’s style. Which is one reason why I love this mod. But hey, that’s just my opinion. But nonetheless, I still love the most of the changes.

Details such as texture sizes are always scaled to the animal's size according to the most recent scientific estimates. It can mean our larger animals look over-detailed sometimes, but if anything, it means more room to work with making authentic patterns.

@@thylaconical2840 it’s not that Authenticity is the issue, The Spino, dilo, Cerato, is the best example of Being both Authentic and simple, nothing too Much and nothing Less What I mean with being too detailed is when the models look too realistic for Minecrafts style, Jurassicraft for example has good designs, but they can look too Round-ish and realistic than something that could fit in Minecraft. fossils and archeologies designs hold at least some level of simplicity that it could actually fit with Minecraft’s style in one way or another. But I also don’t mind very Striking design that are closer to accurate, in fact, i very much love very outstanding designs, but I don’t want it to go Too heavy on the details or else it would start to look more like Jurassicrafts Style. But hey, I still love the majority of the designs. (Sry if that was too long to read, but you get what I mean)
