Hi Brant, my name is Michael from Australia. I really enjoy your videos and I like the way you explore new places to fish. Most of the rivers where I live are clogged with European Carp which is an introduced pest. However they fight hard and are good fun to catch. Looking forward to more of your adventures. Kind regards MP

Love your videos, no matter where you go. Been following for years. from up-upstate NY, Lake George. Voted cleanest lake, 2023. Finally beat out Lake Tahoe. 32 mis. long by 2-3 mis. wide and anywhere from 30' to over 200' deep. lake trout, landlocked salmon lg/sm mouth bass, northern pike, perch, and smaller fish. Enjoy. bottom essentially limestone.

Brant, Your vidsl like this one are too enjoyable to watch! This spot is just right for an old guy like me to grab a good camera and maybe a pack rod and go exploring! Maybe even stir up a rattlesnake or a wild, angry hog! If it is a public spot with parking it is obviously NOT SECRET! It would be so professional if you would divulge where some of your “secret” spots are so intrepid walkers like me could go and enjoy them. That’s why I watch your vids! Knowledge, adventure, etc. Keep up the high quality content and share some highly useful public location info! Your stuff is not redundant like the others in our area. I’m a big fan!

Can't count how many times I've done exploration fishing. My favorite. In Colorado years ago, I was following a stream only about 16" wide. Using small hook with worms. Caught an 18" brown trout and many brookies. Best time of my life.

Tires need air, bait bucket breaks and shrimp goes everywhere. Been there. Would be easy to go home. But fishermen push ahead. Just like golf. That 1 good shot brings you back.

I saw that you had the Beach Bum hat on. Years ago (50) I lived in Tallahassee (now I live in the UP of Michigan), but I had heard at the time a wild rumor that there was a stream in the western Panhandle near you that held both rainbow and brown trout and that the trout being stocked there might have had something to do with the air force base. The town of Defuniak Springs was supposed to be close to where these trout were planted. Now, beings I'm in my 70's I miss the Panhandle and sometimes I think I may want to retire there but I'm addicted to trout and salmon fishing.

Grand Marlin on Pensacola beach is the best but it’s also the most expensive. If you don’t mind that then I would definitely go there. Make an advanced reservation. Other decent options are the Oar House, Peg Leg Pete’s, and the Fish House.

So, there's another objective for you...find those cold water trout if you can and if they are there. Incidently there are rainbow trout in Tallahassee, but only in the winter time. It's a pay to fish place owned by a doctor who mainly caters to flyfisherman. I was there last January to see for myself and it's there.

Pretty cool man - I’m sure you know this already but any time I’m going through unknown backwoods areas, or any wildlife area where large predators can hide (gators, snakes, etc…), I always walk heavily. The vibrations from heavy steps usually send those types of creatures the other direction

You would think all of that natural shoreline by Escribano Point would hold a lot of fish. Not so much. However if you fish the south side of the WMA around the new rip rap shoreline restoration pods, it is holding fish. Suggest easing around with your electric motor and keep eyes peeled for stray boulders. Reds and some trout last fall. Small black tips. The rocks are starting to attract vegetation, barnacles and oysters. It’s just a matter of time.
