Oh no.... I did that with my 99 Ford and it had dumped ALL of the coolant & water into the oil. Checked the oil and it looked like chocolate milk

On my honda I'm having a external leak idk where it could be coming from seeing as I replaced my radiator and coolant tank along with the coolant hose might have to check the lower hose

There is no solution for that short of taking the engine apart at the head.

Older great running 5.4L Triton- appears to be a leak from the weep hole on water pump. Hard to tell once that fan sends that coolant everywhere. Here's the mystery : the leak stopped on it's own. Three days after the leak and loss of 1 gallon of coolant- it hasnt leaked one drop. Because of the thicker concentration of evidence I still think it's the weep hole or that rubber with metal fitting hose nearby. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a 2011 Nissan maxima. I noticed that the temperature gage was all the way up there on hot causing the car to overheat also on the passenger side under the car there is a slow leak with green coolant. Would that be a hose problem or water pump or head gasket?

I loved all of 1A How-to videos. I detected a coolant leak from my Nissan 2001 xtera SUV. I saw a lot of steam smoke ( vapor) came out of the back engine around the oil filter and back if top engine block. I was unable to pin point exactly where the leak actually came from since I do not know the coolant system component arrangement on my Nissan. Think you can help sharing some video tips ? Appreciate a lot.

Can you do a video on how to replace an egr valve on a 2007 mazda 6 I. I recently took mime off the car to clean it but I think I may have cracked the gasket. It's leaking radiator fluid from the bottom of it.

thank youfor the video. i have a leak on my 02 grand prix 3100 se and i replaced my radiator last summer i paid $62 for it on amazon it is leaking around the hose and getting on the belt causing it to slip. and my engine was running hotter and power steering gets hard soetimes and my battery light cycles on and off.

My Chevy Colorado started to leak coolant yesterday so I went to check it out I noticed the leak was running down from the engine not any hoses or clamps. So my truck has the big engine fan and it connects directly into the engine and that’s where the leak is coming from,what could this be what should I do does the engine have to be removed. 2007 Chevy colorado

I have a 2006 Saab 97X 4.2 a.k.a. Chevy trailblazer and there’s coolant leaking from behind the power steering pump near the engine. When I say behind, I mean, if you’re looking at the power steering pump from the passenger side tire. The water pump was done recently and VIP auto said that it wasn’t the water pump. They claimed that it was the transmission cooler lines but these all seem fine.

Recently changed coolant in camaro 2014 RS to dexcool acdelco . However everyday when I open the radiator cap I see coolant gone low in cold start . so I top up with coolant (may be 100ml add). Don't know where the coolant is going , no leaks on bottom area. Is there only 1 pump in coolant movement or any other ?. No leaks so far on pipes or on the hoses. Seriously it's getting my mind worse as I cannot find the reason for low coolant. Any help will be appreciated

Be safe using hydraulic lifts when working under vehicles always check hydraulic fluid levels every day to avoid losing co workers or family/friend doers do to non consideration of this issue stay safe and busy my friends

I recently had a clear leak under my toyota corolla, the fluid had a very slight oily feel. When I mopped the leak from the concrete garage floor it left a very white chalky residue. I now don't see anymore leakage, what could this be ?

3:26 is this seal, where the plastic meets the aluminium, something that can be replaced without replacing the whole radiator? It sure looks like that’s where my leak is ever since a deep freeze a couple weeks ago.

I bought my 2004 Tahoe new and within a month the heater core had a leak on the passenger floor. The issue never returned, but recently I have developed a leak in front of the tires. I assume that it’s the radiator, but looking under the hood while the engine is running droplets are coming from the center of the fan. Need to get it handled soon since it leaked on my belts.

God, I wish I knew what’s going on with my girlfriend‘s car. Randomly today she just started pouring out coolant. No signs of any issue. No white smoke just started pouring out when you refill the reservoir you look under the car you see it coming right out😭

an expansion plug or "freeze plug" . its a potiental place to check for a leak. this "A-1" mechanic must not be familiar with engines, but he seems to do well with the camera..

Hi there. i have a bad leaking and bought a radiator cap and it stopped. but then in a week i notist theres a small leak coming from down the side of my antifreeze container it happens when i turn my engine on with the key. and as im driving it kinda shakes out sudden but it stops. some might know what it could be??

my duramax leaks out of the reservoir but not out of the overflow seems like an only me problem bc i cant find anything on it bc its not mixed it all with oil like everybody says its just clean coolant that pours out after i stop and having a constant low coolant light after i fill but as i said its all coming out onto the ground not in my engine

I bought the combustion test and didn’t get any color change on the radiator. I changed the thermostat because the pipe that was connected wasn’t hot. But the car is still overheating while idling and stays in the middle. Idk what to do next….?!

I'm at wit's end here. 2011 Cadillac SRX 3.0 was throwing P0430 & P0420 codes and started running hot, so had the 2 cats replaced. On the way home from the muffler shop, it started overheating and broke down. Towed home. Filled reservoir 1/2 way with coolant and immediately coolant was all over the driveway and 10 minutes later the reservoir was empty. While this was happening, the combustion leak test was performed and the blue liquid did not change colors. Now, the vehicle is not running hot, not throwing any codes, and the reservoir is empty. I'm afraid to drive it. How do I get the gremlins out of the coolant system?

My 2010 FX35 Reservoir goes over the Max line, i replaced the thermostat with an new OEM and a OEM Radiator cap. I don't see any spills, or smells or smoke. I have to siphone it from the reservoir and put it back into the radiator. The car does not overheat or has never overheated.... i'm at a loss right now.

Got an exterra 2004 has rusty water in the radiator caused a hose to burst I replaced all the coolant hoses but then the next day I noticed a big leak but it isn’t any of the hoses. Is it possible that the rust water messed up the water pump gasket?

my subaru legacy is having neon green liquid leak out. but be fore that all my warning lights were going off then stopped and thats when the leaking happend. what could this be????? i did check my gas cap and that was loose so i put that back on and thats when the warning lights went off finally.
