OK I hate how you don't even talk about how you went about supporting the knuckle in the press. You make it seem like it is self explanatory when I can't make it sit stable no matter what I do. You can't support the x blocks at the point of contact so they just tip over as soon as pressure is applied. You walk everyone through the parts that are common sense and completely ignore the deciding factor on being able to do this yourself

My hinges were not broken and the T-30 bolts refused to break loose. I had to “break” the top half of the old hinge from the bottom with a cutoff wheel. I made certain to spray water on the hinge so the glass didn’t overheat. Once split apart, I cutoff flush what the T-30 bolt was connected to, soaked it with pb blaster and worked it out the next day. This isn’t for the faint hearted. IMO.

In my case . On my chevy silverado 08 The problem wasn't the motor or the power switch . It was the plug conector to the motor it was loose on one side and that was causing the problem.

Watching this because my truck was in a shop too long getting repaired and mice made a fiberglass insulation nest all through my vents 😡 I didn’t realize it until I was breathing it in with ac running. Not a pleasant experience for days afterwards.

I just tried doing this and failed to realized that this video, the shock is not there, therefore its so much easier to slide the axle down. Ive been fighting and trying to figure out how to slide it down for 1.5 hours until rain comes in unexpectedly. Now im stuck and didnt get to finish the job 😢

Extremely vague as there were several different engines available between these years the 4 cylinder the 3.0 and 4.0 v6 4.0 coming in ohv and different ohc variations Running at least 4 different sets of cylinder heads One big downside at least with the 4.0 ohv is the steel parts in the cooling system such as thermostat housing rusting and leaking and of course the expansion plug failure Or the notorious steering pump whine

I love how nothing about my Honda Element is ever the same as these 1A auto videos I don't even have a loose nut for my bottom strut it's like a c clip that the bolt goes through and then threads into a bolt that's welded on to the clip but of course it took gorilla strength just to get thx bolt out. It was ridiculous. My lower control arm was putting so much pressure it slammed the strut out of the way when I got the bolt out. It took my 30 minutes to get that bolt out.

That Bimmer is toast. That rust you see is nothing compared to what is percolating inside those panels.
