Good to hear from you again! Yes it is possible to find gold when magnet fishing. Quite often bags of mixed jewellery get tossed into the rivers. Our magnets attract to the ferrous metals that are iinside the bags. Occasionally there will be gold and other precious metals in the bags too. Thanks for watching 👍👍

@@Magneticg I was thinking about that ring, could be someone lost it while swimming of course or if it was stolen I doubt they would throw it in the river, more likely melt it down if it were gold or bury it for later. Makes me wonder if someone tossed it into the water as a present in exchange for granting an important wish... If you find lots of coins then that could be why. It is a shame our finds can`t talk, as I often wonder about their history and how they came to be lost. I have a big old 1950`s bicycle with huge 28 inch wheels and love it. Would love to know who all the previous owners were and where it has traveled. Shame the river does not have a tide so you could search for the silver coins, etc... Maybe Dad can do some scuba diving and underwater mudlarking there. Those soldiers say - OH NO, that mudlark Magnetic G is out magnet fishing, there he goes ruining our Sunday yet AGAIN!

Captain Freddy we are assuming the ring is gold it's taking a lot of cleaning up its covered in rock solid crud it's very yellow softish metal and hasn't tarnished we are going to have it looked at 👍

Frédéric Ceresola really sorry about the camera angle being too high we usually have a camera lady but she wasn't with us that day so me and dad had to film ourselves. The tripod we were using was an old one of dads that we couldn't tilt so that was partly the problem so we have now bought a new tripod that does tilt plus we will always film with front facing camera now if we are ever filming ourselves so that we know we are in shot 👍we have learned a lesson from our dodgy filming that day so thats a good thing 👍 sorry again and thanks for watching 👍👍
