She has had a few cosmetic procedures done..like chemical peels..etc. She has the videos!! She does not deny it. So her skin is not natural it has been helped a lot!! skin is not natural

Wow! I'm thrilled that you like this foundation so much! I just started using it after a visit to Sephora, it was the foundation the girl choose for me. I use it with one of their illuminating primers, and I have been loving it! So far, it is my favorite foundation. It is so natural looking! Great review!

I'm 56 with oily skin and this foundation is my holy grail. You'll actually get better wear in the fall and spring than summer with oily skin, but, I will never let it go. Thanks for the testing and I hope you continue to enjoy the foundation even more as you wear it more often.

I’m 43 yo and have been a Estee Lauder fan for years now. Their foundation has been my holy grail and even though I’ve found some other brands that do the job, I always come back to this one over and over again. Their face care products are top of the line and despite their price I have not found something that keeps my skin looking young and healthy. Great review Angie 🤩👏

This has been my holy grail for a few years now. Have tried others from time to time but always repurchase my estee Lauder double wear. It may be a bit pricey but I wear it everyday and it lasts for ages. You buy the pump once and can reuse it. Definitely worth it when you know that IT WORKS and always looks flawless. I could not cope without it. ❤

Yea! So happy that you did this review! Double Wear knocked my other holy grails out of the park and it lasts on my 53-year-old combo skin for up to 16 hours as long as I use a good primer, powder, and setting spray (Cover FX). Thanks for another great review Angie!

I just recently started using Estee Lauder perfectionist youth infusing foundation and I have to say I absolutely love it. I was debating between that and the DW but what won me over was the pump, yes it has one, and the fact that it has spf 25. The color I'm using is spot on and the best match I think I have ever had to my skin. My 65 Y/O skin is not overly dry but I too add a drop of oil. I think this is the one I will stay with for a long, long time.

This has been my favorite foundation for years. Absolutely nothing lasts on me like it. I set it with a powder (maybelline fit me loose finishing powder) and get it to last all day with no primer. So glad to see u you finally review it. It looked amazing on you!!

I absolutely loveeee, this foundation. I use to be the counter manager for Estee Lauder and fell in love with it. Its one of my favorite for mature skin and I have dry skin & im 48. Thank you! I just turned 40 (rx retin a, less oil...) and am overhauling my entire vast foundation/concealer collection. Ordered this one in fresco and Armani luminous silk in 4.75, w/ CoverFx grip primer for certain areas. If I looked like you NOW let alone in 16 years gurl - I’d be a happy human! You’re a beauty! I JUST discovered CT powders - after shunning all powders for years!! 100% with you there! I have that exact one you used as well as the loose one in shade 1 (they’re both translucent and don’t show color on me but work some crazy good voodoo - I feel like shouting from the rooftops anyone afraid of powder to get thee to a nordies for some Charlotte goodness!). I just discovered this foundation. I love it. Finally, a foundation that doesn’t melt off. Just tough to find the right color match. I never tried it because I imagined it to be heavy, thick foundation that would be cake like. Not the case at all.

I have been circling that counter, thinking about that foundation, for about a year but just couldn’t go ahead with it bc I was afraid it was going to be cakey, too heavy, or drying. Now, I’m actually happy to get to that counter now and get color matched, and. start trying it for myself. I’m a few years older than you, but, I think it might work for me. I’m a little tired of the IT CC cream, too, for the same reason you mentioned. Thank you once again, Angie, for the priceless help you give us so kindly. ✨💖✨

Hi Angie, happy to see you try this foundation! It has been a fav of mine for years. I have dry and sometimes flaky skin and this foundation always looks good on me and i have tried many. I wish it had a pump as well. Have a good weekend.

This is my current favorite foundation! I started wearing makeup again, consistently, at age 50. I had fallen out of the habit for about a decade and had to find a foundation that worked for my older skin. The Estee Lauder Double Wear has been working great for me!

I've been using this brand for a few years now and I love it. I even use the same shade 3N1 and sometimes I mix it with 2N1 when needed. EXCELLENT foundation in the PNW with the wet and rainy weather! I too, have oily/combo skin and am knocking on the "Club 50" door!

How do you get it off? I wash my face twice and it still won’t come off. I think it must be very bad on the pores to wear this every day

@@AllyKit I use Clinique Take off the Day cleansing balm followed by a gentle face wash. Also, there is an even better foundation for you to try now. I switched to Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup SPF 45 foundation and that is all I use now. Angie has done videos on it if you want to check it out. It makes my skin look amazing and like I am not wearing foundation.

LadyCami Thank you 😊 I tried that one too but I guess my skin is more oily because I look like a grease pit despite wearing powder. And feel my pores clogging! I agree it is a beautiful finish on everyone I’ve seen on KZfaq but neither one of these foundations look the person is not wearing makeup, and that is the look I’m used to with Mac Face & Body which I can remove with one easy wipe. Maybe I will wear them on special occasions, but it all seems too much trouble for daily wear for me at 52.

I'm so glad you tried this because I'm 56 also and this was my Holy Grail up till I turned 40. Then it didnt work any longer with my skin. But I think I'll try this again it may beat my No. One It foundation. Thanks Angie!!

I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, also. It's taken me a long time to find a foundation that's full coverage and doesn't crack or settle into wrinkles, and this one is a winner!
