What a beautiful FOUNTAIN PEN!

I began my FOUNTAIN PEN JOUNEY years ago with a Parker student pen I bought at Walgreens Drugstore. About eight to ten years ago I got back into using fountain pens, so I’m somewhere in the middle. I love finding a good writer that is also a good bang for the buck.

I got an old Schaeffer fountain pen from one of my older siblings when I was a kid and that is how my FOUNTAIN PEN adventures began. I ink stained fingers for many years. You guys party like it's 1999. Unless you are in to Bardcore music, then party like it's 999. LMAO. Congrats on your milestone!!

Congrats on 2K subscribers! I've always loved your videos and your calming voice (I think I mentioned that before in a previous video). The cameos from Mike add a nice surprise. I've been into FOUNTAIN PENS for the past 2 years. It's been a fun slippery slope, and I'm doing all I can to slow down the speed at which I fall. It started off with a Lamy Safari in medium nib. I wanted fine nibs after that because my paper quality was rubbish, and then I wanted stub nibs for flare and flex nibs for calligraphy. I next tried different filling mechanisms, and finally tried the Twsbi ECO just this year. Of course, I haven't mentioned all the fountain pen inks I've been exploring. I thought I'd be a black ink for life person. I was surprised to find that I'm a pastel shimmery ink person. A rarity! I like the idea of having a beginner pens collection. Firstly because it's affordable, and secondly because I promote the usage of fountain pens all the time to everyone I meet that it's nice to have a few starter pens on hand at all times to show whats available. I was once called a fountain pen saleseperson because of this haha. I'm just an enthusiast. The most recent addition to my beginner pens collection is a pen I've affectionately called the "Flamyngo". It's a Lamy imitation without any branding information that came for free with a friend's purchase. She couldn't get it to work since it didn't come with a cartridge or converter, and I've rehomed it in my collection once I brute-forced a Lamy cartridge onto the section post. It works. But for how long? I also adjusted the tines a bit to make it write more wet. I cannot wait to be decades into the hobby. I keep learning new things all the time and there's so much to explore. I've only just started dabbling in paper!
