Welcome back to another video! Today we are covering all kinds of storage for your favorite pens! I will share with you my entire collection of pen cases, pen pouches, pen rolls & more! I will talk about several different price points and share with you what I think the pros and cons are for each item. I hope you enjoy it!

I fell down the FP rabbit hole end of Sept 2022 as well and I feel like so much of your journey so far has mirrored mine. Your videos are so so relatable. I got a similar acrylic case for the my pens, though it only has three drawers and I told myself I would like to keep my collection to that case and when it gets full, I'd like to do a 1-in-1-out rule. I use my top drawer for my currently inked and keep the clean pens in the other drawers. I was an all digital person prior to getting a fountain pen and now I can't imagine not spending at least a little time each day writing with my pens. They are my zen. Wonderful video on cases. I fell down this FP rabbit hole in March of this year. And I have been wondering where to get the liner you have in the clear case. So glad this popped up for me. 3 months in and my collection is already around 25-26 pens with w2 more en route. 😂. I bought my first case last week and it holds 10 so I was thinking, just for my currently inked and yet here I am with about 14 inked up. 😂😂 It’s fun. And FP rules are made to be broken.

I love Rickshaw so much, and they appeal to me because they have the bright colors. I'm currently using the Galen Leather 4-pen holder every day, which I got from one of their zip portfolios. I love using that to hold a notebook and pens.

A Rickshaw fan here! Ive got many of their pouches, coozy cases. and on and on. I have favored Asian inspired items forever, and have a custom pen roll and small pouch in a limited custom Japanese Koi fabric with gold inlaid thread that is stunning. Just love all of my Rickshaw collection and the fun fabrics.

I have the Galen Leather 4 pen pouch. I love mine too. It is a nice way to protect your pens.

love the storage idea, i have fountain pens and unusual regular pens that I could show off very nicely in that container with the inserts! very NICE!!

Thanks for another great video. I like the Superior canvas bag since it can be so versatile. Also like the idea of the clear case display if you have the space for it. My personal favorite for travel is the Rickshaw Sinclair Model R. Hold 3 expensive pens, room for at least 5 others and the outside pouch fits a small Rhodia pad. Small yet practical.

I so enjoy watching your videos so much fun and great info. and Lumpy is sooo cute! Yes when I first started my fountain pen "adventure" I said I would just have 4 pens why on earth would I need anymore than that?! Here I am over 20 pens later! Loved the video. Your dog is so adorable. Looks like a soft stuffed animal. I fixed upa drawer set like this about a month ago. Like being able to see them on my desk. I also have a couple of wooden boxes for things not in the "rotation"

Thanks for the Motern tip…they are still $100 (cnd) but cheaper than my galen leather zippered folio cover (too heavy in my bag)….oh to find the perfect journal cover..doesnt exist. Mine would be a thick canvas zippered pouch similar to the galen with enough space to provide for the thickness of a few fp’s and a leuchterm hard cover. I got the Motern in the yellow!

Ive only got rickshaw right now. But i went for a yuki cat pattern since i have black cats at home that are my world ❤

Might have to look into these cases. I like the ability to see my collection all the time. I also love that orange Lami Safari! I missed that drop and am into orange pens.

I have some inexpensive faux leather pen cases from Amazon that hold 38 pens (I have my pen collection in alphabetical order by brand), and then I have some 6-8 pen cases from various brands for travel. I like the zip-around cases, but sometimes they won't fit the longer pens like BENU Euphorias. I have one special wooden box with a glass lid that sits on my writing desk for my expensive pens ($200 and up.) I got it from Levenger, and it holds 20 pens. I don't have 20 pens in that price range, but have a few on my wish list. My fountain pen addiction blew up during 2020-2022, but now I feel very content with what I have and am focused on using and enjoying what I already have. I think that is a pretty common pattern for a lot of us in this hobby! So many brands and options and price ranges, you feel like you need to try them all in some form! I have been looking at that SL Yoseka--I actually make quilted pen rolls that are almost identical, except not made from leather! I feel like they stole my design, ha ha! Of course I only charge $20 for mine!

I love a pen case video. I have the four pen Galen Leather in green which I love plus a couple of cheaper, but very useful rolls and single or double cases. I think I have been into fountain pens slightly longer than you but you are way ahead of me ….I have Kawecos Lamys, Twsbi, Jinhaos….One Sailor, one Conklin, one Tibaldi, one Leonardo which I bought second hand…. I think you have more scope over in the US…… we seem to have fewer pen specialists here in the UK….. so online is the solution…… I love your enthusiasm on all your videos… please keep them coming x 👍😀

I thought my 6 pen Rickshaw roll was going to be all I needed as well… now I have a Rickshaw 3 pen, and a Rickshaw Sinclair R case… oh and a beautiful wooden collectors box that holds my 3 investment pens… Ah oh! LOL😂

I *MAKE* pens, so for those I'm in my second 48-slot cowhide binder (Amazon). I use them as a portfolio to show potential customers what is possible, then we go into customization options. As for "commercial" pens, I haven't really gone full storage chest yet, although with some of my recent purchases, like the Konreki VP, I've been looking into more secure options, which is why I'm here. I'm currently looking into designing and crafting my own laser cut chest, like some of the ones I've seen on Etsy, but I do like the acrylic case with drawers.

I love your attention to detail about your pens. I have my one and only lowly pen, but I will get more soon. Love the Rickshaw case. The print looks like Cherry Blossoms.

I really enjoy your calm chats explaining all your various FP items and the journey you have been on. Glad they are a part of your everyday life now. I started back in 2018 after a few years of bullet journaling and I too can't imagine life without my fountain pens and all the additional writing/journaling I do now. Thank you for sharing!

It depends on your needs how much acquisitions you can conceive as a collection. There is depth, and there is breadth. You can have a few pen pens, many inks, many pens, single brand of inks. Same goes with storage, and paper.

I wish Penn State had another tray size that was slightly wider - I find some of my larger pens, like the Benus, end up touching sides.
