Best story I ever heard was from my social studies teacher - in the early 80s he took his students to Jerusalem and things were tense at the time but the students started singing this really loud - it created quite the issue 😂😂😂

I write to you now hearing this song for only the 2nd time in 40+ years. And the last time in a church I requested it on Memorial Day for this reason for our vets...: This song broke up my church (as a young man) in the Viet Nam War. You see, we had an elderly man in our congregation that lost his only Son in the Viet Nam War, who gave his life to save others in his platoon. The old man would pay $100, and that was a lot of money then, for our congregation to sing it, every week if possible, in remembrance of his son. (and he’s not the only one to this day) just to hear this song in remembrance of his son. But times changed, politics changed, and we all knew the war was political and sending drugs to our country and weapons of mass destruction. The good protests, the bad ones, the caskets of our soldiers on t.v. daily...the violent police, (Kent State), and then folks never wanted to hear the words of this song unless they had lost Soldiers in the war. True. So this song broke up my church 😭... back in the day. As folks wanted to put the war behind them... Now I am honored to hear it once again... That you and you soon receive a $1,000,000 blessing . Priceless 🙏🏻

When I was a young boy in a Catholic boarding school in Australia, I used to sing this song with all the fervour I could muster. Then I grew up and joined the Australian Defence Force and went to War. Since then, fifty years later, I find it very difficult to equate the words "Christian, Marching, Battle and War."

I can't hold back my tears while listening to the angelic voices of men and women worshipping God. I'm in awe of the preparations, the choice of place, the harmony of voices though they are in open space..what a great interpretation of this old but timely song.This is one of my father and mother's favorite hymnal song and as I listened to you all,I can hear them singing ,too (they r now in heaven),like a cloud of witness cheering us all (though our family is being shaken) encouraging all the saints to keep fighting for God is marching with all His christian soldiers...watching here from the Philippines.. I wish there were a lot of high schools in America that are like Fountainview Academy and teach their young people in the ways of Christ and have staff that are committed to the Eternal success of each student at the academy instead of the garbage that goes on this day and time in our local public schools. The young people in this video appear to love the Lord, love people, and be happy, healthy, and well-adjusted young people who will be used by the Lord to make a difference for the best in tomorrow's world.

Yes, I know your words because I was in high school but thar was evil all over that place.so I and my brother quit school,😞now were learning more better things from home. I'm in Dixieland in the u.s which is the southern side of America and it's now filled with bad people. It was crishtin land diring the civil war. The Southern man stood with God agist the union but today,the southern man is called racist because of bad people using the battle flag in a racist way. If you know wut I'm tolking about, then tell me what you know about the confederate battle flag.😊 you probably know about that. You're choice.

Every night before we go to to sleep we should make our lives right with God so that even if we were to die in our sleep we will still go to Heaven. Here is a good prayer to say before sleeping and throughout the day. Say dear Lord Jesus I thank you for dying for my sins and I receive you as my Lord and saviour. Lord Jesus please forgive me of all my sins, wash away all my spots blemishes and wrinkles and fill me with your holy spirit. Lord I forgive and release all those who have done me wrong and I ask you to bless them. Lord Jesus please write my name permanently in the lambs book of life in Heaven in Jesus's name I pray.
