Since it's playing on TV, it's probably the 5 hr. Version, which is edited as a mini-series, and was the one intended for television. The 3 hr. edit was made for theatrical showings.

For those keeping track, Bobi did say four films in the video. There was a glitch that didn't carry over the poster for The Last King of Scotland, so Rocky III, Beverly Hills Cop, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Last King of Scotland

Memento, lord of the rings, Do the right thing, Godfather 1-2, Red shoes, The Thing, Citizen Kane, Indiana Jones, Pan’s Labyrinth, Star Wars, Close encounters, Taxi driver, Prince of Egypt, …. as I said, lots of greats.

@@guysimchony309 Well I notice that most filmmakers cite either '70s movies (The Godfather, 2001, Apocalypse Now, Taxi Driver, those sort of stuff) or movies from the past two decades (which is fair enough, modern movies appeal more to you)... When you get the foreign film makers, they will rightfully champion films from their own countries with some '70s American movies. My top 4 are not that niche but now I don't want to say it because I sound like a total niche ass. LOL

guysimchony309- I wouldn't necessarily say there's all that wide a range since I've noticed so many people all choosing many of the same things over and over again. And RichardHannay - 2001 was 1968, how do you possibly not even know the decade that movie came out?
