This was so much fun to watch-I really enjoyed this. Thank you! It’s a really cool idea. It’s actually quite a smart application. Friends of ours live in a side-split home and have a similar crawl space. They use it as a cold room for storing preserves and similar things. Like yours, it’s a pain to get into and out of. Our previous home was of an age that predated full height basements which rendered the space equally “challenging”. I can easily see how something like this would be quite practical. This is awesome. Any chance there are other garden railroads that share a common gauge so you could run it on a bit more track?

There are other 7½” gauge systems out there, but the very slow top speed and the need for frequent recharging makes it impractical to cover any distance.
