yeah but that's not at all what this ruling says?...So here's what the courts really said and what THEY MEAN: because that ruling really only stated that FIFA and Uefa can NOT simply "OUTRIGHT DENY" other leagues like a supreme body of law. That Barcelona and madrid (BUT most important ALSO OTHERS) must AT LEAST GAIN the chance to "TRY and PITCH a Super League" and FIFA can't suppress such actions for anything outside THEIR regulations regulatory bodies, organisations and limits. (so obviously quite alot) Nowhere close to a "right to a super league". In reality this was really everything BUT. Its a moral victory at best... that's what you could call it. The courts still granted FIFA ITSELF to DENY a European super league and all members of it, force players to choose between, expel players and clubs and even nations, from World cups and euros and CL and ALL OTHER BODIES, Competitions and Regulatory bodies of fifa and uefa etc etc. The court said also though that their ruling is very much guided by the fact, that "they see THAT EXACTLY as very problematic." And that therefore fifa and Uefa obviously can't be allowed to outright and outside their ruristictions, deny THE CREATION of other leagues. THATS the problem though...There never was anything of the sort HINDERING madrid and barca AND other clubs and organizations, from DOING SO in the first place, its not like fifa can make...laws. Real Madrid/ Barca etc where always "free to try and make a DIFFERENT league." They (Barca Madrid etc) however wanted the courts to give them rights and insurances on doing so "UNDER THE FIFA MANTLE" so to speak, to "copy" their competiitons, in the name of market competition if fifa cant be made to regulate THEIR league and hoped (in the beginning) the court would give them assurances that Fifa and Uefa wouldnt be allowed to ban players and people from THEIR competitions and governing bodies for joining said different leagues and and and (to use their inherent power as an organization to deny any creation of anything in its own domain)...but THAT...the court outright denied to do too and didnt infringe on. (OBVIOUSLY.) Fifa has still every right to do those things, in their own regulatory domain. The courts also didnt judge on the right of fifa to "use the muscle they build up in the past decades to outright deny other leagues to perform the same systems and competitions they have." ALL THAT they say would have to be decided by A TOTALLY DIFFERENT CASE....and ruling. This really was a NON ruling on all levels. So in the end the courts simply explained that, everything they could do anyway, they (barca madrid and other clubs and orgs), CAN...but that beyond this, the courts will not grant EITHER (fifa)........OR (others) .....the abilty to outright DENY or BIND the other to or from doing anything. However they say, they see that fifa is trying to abuse that monopol on the sport they have built up, and aggresively so, and ask if THAT is really necessary? (typical court "what?!", millenia removed from reality...). It IS a moral victory THOUGH!!!!! But also not a victory for barca and madrid whatsoever (even though they want ot style themelves as such of course). In reality this was the courts trying to preserve THE SPORTS integrity...in the hopes that maybe in the future an organization, NOT FIFA OOOOR Corrupted Clubs, would try the same...and then a law ruling of such a magnitudal court MUSNT exist, that would hamper such an undertaking. (i am almost positive that was really the thought guiding this verdict in the very foist plaice). ...So yeah...thats really the story here. Its a typical neither, nor, court ruling. Saying as little as possible and is rather...utopian in nature. As most court rulings on that level are. Because of the power invovled. These courts seldom REALLY WANT to rule anything at all. Beause the rulings are SO destructively binding once put into motion.

The decision from the European Court is great because it takes away all of UEFA and FIFA's power stop this and therefore EPL's power.The super league can't be stopped now therefore in order to get rid of the threat caused by it UEFA will just end up having to create a super league anyway which is what the clubs wanted so they'll get what they wanted all along.

Good views. The English Premier League is the most competitive and interesting football league in the world. No Super League would surpass it for entertainment. I'm sure every supporter of the Premier League clubs, also the fans of the so called "big six" clubs, will much rather watch Premier League and its matches compared to the ones in the possible Super League. The latter would not have the excitement and passion the Premier League has. The possible English breakaway clubs and their fans would regret such a decision in a year or two and be willing to return to "home".

If the ESL goes through you can bet that there will be a lot more match fixing and terrible calls in favor of the big teams that cannot be relegated. This would be like the American sports leagues where there is no risk to the team if you play horribly as you cannot be relegated. This is a move to make money not a move to uphold the dignity of sport and competition.

The restricted practises that they have used to create a position where they alone are able to decide what competitions clubs can enter and how fans can watch football is totally undemocratic. The must be freedom to produce football competitions that are free from monopoly control. UEFA and FIFA are ultimately want to control the money and their income! The comment that English law will protect football From breaking away from the epl is untrue, all that has to happen is that a super league is set up to run in parallel with the epl!
