This Technique Tuesday video demonstrates four options for stacked vertical double increases: K1, YO, K1; Central Double Increase (CDI); Double Lifted Increase; and Double Knit Below Increase. Each of these double increases creates a strong vertical stitch line that the two increases grow out of. These types of increases are often used in chevron designs, offset by double decreases in a nearby vertical column, but they can be used in other sorts of projects, as well. Written instructions for each type of increase are further down in the video description.
