"you guys owe me a beer after how many times I changed the triggers out" yes... yes we do. Great work and I agree. p365 trigger is hot garbage and does feel like a double action trigger that just "rolls" until it breaks. My shadow 2 double action is actually smoother and lighter than the p365.

Thank you for this video. I'm new to Sig, and learning about the trigger and upgrade options was interesting. Also, you do a great job. You have a soothing voice that's worth listening to.

Hey, Jughead. Thanks for the kind words! I hope you enjoy your new Sig.

Perfect video because I have several m carbo items on my p365 and I was debating whether to install this or not you've made it easy thank you

Happy pewing. Their installation video is probably the best out there too.

I have the Mcarbo trigger and springs that I am going to have installed. I was happy to see this comparison to confirm my choice. I don't like the stock trigger at all.

I'v had the IMT trigger installed for a couple years and it's been great.

Great video. I have about 2,000 rounds with the Mcarbo trigger on my P365 with no issues. Haven't had to reapply locktite on the set screw either.

Thanks! MCarbo has really left everyone else in the dust on this platform.

I’m also using MCarbo’s mag release. I can now drop a mag without breaking my grip. I’m thumb impaired :)

I had the curved armory craft trigger installed and I recently changed it for the tyrant trigger.

Great video. I have the MCarbo and the Tyrant CNC. My reason for getting the Tyrant was the desire to have some external safety that wasn't a thumb safety. That said, I still prefer the MCarbo.
@GruntyCaveman3 ай бұрын
@gjhoward Even though the MCarbo trigger is much better than the Tyrant, I'm now using the Tyrant for the added safety, because, you know, it's a Sig....

I’m curious if the MCABRO striker and TYRANT trigger shoe would work together and what it would feel like???
@GruntyCaveman2 ай бұрын
I haven’t tried that combo, but I always check the sear to striker leg engagement using an armorer’s 1/2 backplate after making changes. Just to be safe.

Really only three factors i care about in a trigger. Does it take up smoothly to the wall? Does it break clean and consistently? Is the reset long or short?
@GruntyCaveman11 күн бұрын
All of the reasons to replace the stock trigger 🤣, plus reducing the 7+ Lb stock trigger pull weight. I prefer 4 to 5 Lbs for carry.

Any plans on getting the Grayguns trigger?
@GruntyCavemanАй бұрын
No, I have this one squared away. Despite the fact that the MCarbo was the best of the bunch, I switched to the Tyrant with the trigger dingus. Anything to make a Sig safer is a good thing.

Hmm. Now I am reconsidering sig over my Mako.

Have you tried the armory craft trigger?
@GruntyCavemanАй бұрын
No, I didn’t try the Armory Craft. It looks well made, but I wanted adjustable pre-travel to get rid of the mile long take up of the stock trigger.

Why no Ramm tactical? Should check out their trigger.. incredible.

Couldn’t get the carbo to work on mine. It brings the trigger bar too far forward so that the Safety guard can’t lower.
@GruntyCaveman2 ай бұрын
Did you adjust the pre-travel screw? You may want to contact MCarbo, they might be able to help.
@toddfrye12082 ай бұрын
I have the same issue. Recommended pre-travel set. Safety level does sit high. MCarbo has not responded to the fix to the problem. However a few people on SigTalk have suggested filing off some off the material off the back plate so the safety level doesn’t impede with the back plate. Or you can just go with another trigger option (ArmoryCraft)
@LoneWolfRanging2 ай бұрын
Pre travel has nothing to do with the issue. It’s the angle of the trigger itself. It pulls the trigger bar forward and presses on the safety lever so that it can’t be lowered.
@LoneWolfRanging2 ай бұрын
Yea I am not filing down an oem part, especially the safety lever, 1- for basic safety of its integrity and 2 it’s supposed to be a drop in lever. I’m seeing lots of complaints on mcarbos other products. For instance many say they have light primer strikes with their firing pin.
@toddfrye12082 ай бұрын
I’m just going by what people are suggesting. Another suggestion was to file off a millimeters off the trigger angle. I am going to attempt to take off some material from the back plate to see if it corrects the issue. Btw a new back plate is about $15.00 and it should not interfere with any safety issues it’s just a clearance issue. To each their own

I personally like the p365 stock trigger, but that's just me. However, there's a reason Sig got a military contract.

As much as I love the style of Sig. I just can’t justify a gun going off by its self. If they ever get it right I just might buy one.
@GruntyCaveman2 ай бұрын
The P365 variants don’t have that issue, or not that I’ve heard of anyway. The P320 on the other hand, I would never carry. Sig just can’t/won’t fix that gun.
@tizben2 ай бұрын
@@GruntyCavemanI believe they fixed it. But unfortunately, would not carry a p320 without a safety

Sigs don't go off by themselves
@GruntyCaveman2 ай бұрын
@@johnhatchel9681 Quite the debate. I read the entire complaint in the class action lawsuit against Sig. Holy crap that's a lot of people with holes in their bodies as a result of bullets exiting P320 barrels. A shocking number. I have no idea if those holes are due to negligent handling/holster issues or a flawed firearm design. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the trial.

I had the IMT trigger installed by skipz gunz and he did not mention the adjustable take up screw on the IMT which I really like, not sure anything else is much different?
@GruntyCaveman3 ай бұрын
I'm sure Skipz just set the screw to the minimum take up possible while preventing the defeat of the plunger.
