I haven’t played a Tamagotchi since I was 8, my friend got me the Sanrio one a few days ago so as a college student I was afraid I’ll never take care of it. I got my Sanrio meets few days ago and I'm at second gen already. It's really helpful to change the clock when I know I can't take care my pet within the day so I make the time opposite. When my school is over, my tama is awake so I can play it without any missed care. :>

The clock tip is super useful. I work a 9-5 job and I was worried about getting one, since I knew there wasn’t a “pause” button. But I’ll probably change the clock at the beginning a lot of the times so I don’t have to fork over a lot of gotchi points. I can’t wait to get mine Saturday now! 🧡🧡🧡

Your videos are so helpful! A friend of mine was showing me the advertisements of the Wonder Garden line and I was on the fence of buying. I played with tamagotchi very briefly as a kid but hated the inconvenience that it posed at times when I was busy with something else or at school (I think I even had one confiscated from me once in grade school >.

I haven’t watched the video yet, so sorry if my tips were already included. 1. There’s rumors that you can get your tama really happy by spam-feeding it sweets, PLEASE DONT DO THAT! It can cause your tama to have cavities, and it’ll die if you don’t help it in time. 2. Once your tama gets to a child, you should start playing games and gaining friendship, games help you tama get money and buy rings to get married, and friendship can raise your chances of getting married to that tama, the reason this is important is because the average life-span is from 7-24 years old. Today my tama died due to old age, so you should marry it before that happens. 3. Make sure you’re getting your egg at the right time, because if you set it at night, the baby will still be awake and might die, The tama usually goes to bed at 7:00-8:00, but I noticed that the baby wasn’t going to bed when it usually would. I don’t know if that is true, but it’s better safe than sorry. 4. Sometimes people need to go to work, school, or something else, maybe a party? You should either do this to prevent your tama from dying! A, Leave him at the Tama hotel, B, Change the time on the tama so it’ll go to sleep, or C, Only people gen 2 and up can do this, but leave your tama at his parent’s house! 5. A lot of my tama’s deaths and sicknesses are probably from me taking it to it’s parent’s house, and forgetting that you need to hit “leave tama?” How it’ll usually go, is that the tama and his/her parents have a conversation, then after that, it’ll pop up “leave tama?” Now I already left because I thought it was going to stay there already, so once it stays like that for awhile the tama will leave and return home, make sure you don’t do my mistake and forget about that “leave tama” button. 6. Play with it often so it’s happiness meter will go up, and google is your best friend if something goes wrong. Hopefully this helps!

This...i should have watched this first because my tamagotchi just died on me lmao...I tried to feed her, everything but nothing work until the angels came in to sweep her away from me xD. I honestly was a bit lost to when my tamagotchi needed to use the bathroom, how to know at all so every time I left her to do some things at home I ended up meeting her when she pooped herself and I would have to clean it up ;-;! Knowing that I can set up the time of her sleeping is very helpful, annnnd knowing that I can send her to a daycare much helpful too. Hi another thing that I learned is when you leave your Tama to their parents that is only once for the day. Meaning when you decide to pic them up. You cannot bring them back again to their parents.

I had over 30 Tama experience so here is a pro tip for people who just started tamagotchi (the people who never owned a tama device before) I was one of these people so pro tip(again) so the left button pulls up the menu that can take care of your tama and moves your curser over the thing you want to hover over, the middle selects if your on the menu, and if you not it brings them outside if your tama is atleast a toddler/1 year old. The right button cancels the thing you are doing or closes the menu. I tend to be an idiot sometimes with the “tama pets and location unlocks” so if you don’t know how to do that stuff I suggest for you to look up a tutorial.

My tamagotchi has brownish background.. with a purple blend on top.. always crying.. went to the hospital and these two floating things blocking the hospital truck.. one floating thing beside it kinda shaped like a skull floating near it.. and I won’t let me do anything... For Christmas a few years ago I got a tamagotchi. This was a purple 1997 tomogatchi. You could only see the time, feed it, clean it’s poop, and watch it grow up. I lost it and now it’s somewhere, dead. I swear by the time I find it if it’s not dead I’m naming it immortal godly being. My brother still had his, but didn’t play it so now it’s batteries died. I found it on the platform of our backpack rack. So now when we change the batteries I will care for it as my own. Until my brother actually wants it back, I find mine, or my parents buy me a new tamagotchi on or a 1997 one after I build up the courage to ask them.
