Alli M. 8 minutes is the target time. Rapid response cars and motorbike paramedics get medically trained persons to emergencies as first responders so as to relieve the strain on the ( more expensive to provide and maintain) ambulances.

Yuen Ken tsang I pulled over for an ambulance yesterday and the driver behind me would not let me back into traffic stream so he could tailgate the ambulance turning off and stopped at a takeaway. S/bag.

It reminds me of being 6 again when my abusive adult brother trapped me in a room it was my big sisters room with him to hurt me I thought he was going to kill me N I was screaming crying panicked and calling for my mummy and daddy And he'd tell me that there's no point calling for them they aren't here and can't help me That I was alone with him I fought him off me but he cracked and crushed my ribs and ability to breath and told me he will squeezes the life out of me if I kept fighting him So I gave up N I don't remember much about whT happened but I'm still alive but I do remember he threatened me not to tell mum or dad or he'd come into my bedroom where I slept n slice my throat with thr biggest knife he can find in the kitchen n he asked me what that would mean if he sliced my throat in half it would mean I couldn't breath and I'd die I didn't tell my mum but my little brother did as he was in the house at the time he was 4 My mother got the whole family gathered around n even at 6 I remember pressing record on my tape player coz I was recording my family interactions like I always do coz I liked making memorise on tapes and diaries and photographs i knew things can change and it's good to have memorise as my oldest brother and sister moved out and my grandad stopped visiting for Christmas so I didn't want to loose and miss anything else in my immediate family and here every one was in one room but it turned out mother used this time to talk about what my adult brother did to me and then she mocked me slapped me for crying and blamed and shamed me for it and all my siblings were laughing at me. My adult brother left the room saying he was going to the toilet and made cutting knife actions across his throat in the behind the door in doorway of the living room at me. Scared to sleep due to it all even today and still had night terrors and nightmares back then I started to wet the bed again something I did as a toddler maybe n it continued until I turned 8 or 9. Was scared to leave my dad's sight n would wait for him at the front door if he was not back from work. If my adult brother was in the hall id hide in the garden in the bushes until I saw my dad in thr kitchen window making dinner or doing the dishes. My dad had kicked him out but he came round whenever he liked so my dad banned him to only Mondays after a certain time when he was at home but he came round earlier anyway so my dad started taking me to his work after school or on holidays. So my adult brother had no access to me. But my adult brother still had access to me other times. Anyway it is only the tip of thr ice berg of my life in truama. But even today I have fear of anything near my throat. Feelimg safe and secure in my self or my home. Feeling I can protect n rely on me is difficult. 4 to 6 years old should never feel alone and needing to fight or defend for themselves even if successful at it it does play a huge truama in our lives later on and causes self esteem n affects our view perception relationship with ourself and the world. But I do remember being in thst blind fear so young without care giver around. N so I can relate to her fear then. I just felt the operator was talking to her like an adult not a 4 year old n wasn't reassuring and compassionate enough I remember at 4 we were vandalised and terrorised by many neighbourhood kids and my whole family was terrified and put out all the lights of our house n my dad called the police and the police as usual took their side not ours saying we were the ones harassing the kids of our neighbour by calling out the police on them n there's no evidence they were doing anything to us or that they were anywehere near our house n it's our word against theirs. Then one officer leaned down to me a 4 year old girl and told me in a threatening tone of you let your daddy call the police one more time he will be taken away from you and he will be locked up and you'll never see your daddy again. And it will be your fault not his cause you let him call us out again. I told my mother what the officer told me. I had other siblings around some one 7 one 9 one 12 one 16 and so on he could have warned but no he picked on the youngest one A 4 year old girl and put the weight of the world onto her shoulders At nursery I was spoken to like an adult at 4 too and punished me for not hearing what the teacher had said I was and am partially deaf but I couldn't have the operation I was needing coz the doctor felt I needed to wait until I turned 10. I got it done at 8 and then onwards. So I know what it's like to be talked to and treated like an adult so young No 4 year old should be spoken to as an adult or put in this situation

+dorn9503 actually she wasn't brave because she was crying her eyes out and people are saying that she's brave because she was forced to be in that situation it would be like a little boy in a house that caught on fire and escaped then people would tell him that he's brave but it would only be because he was in the situation

The boy shouted something along the line like "My mom is fucking dying!" The dispatcher probably thought she was being disrespected by the boy, so she hung up the line. The boy's mother end up dead.
