‘Bali Run’ is the sparkling opening track from Fourplay’s debut album ‘Fourplay’. The album, released in 1991, was hugely popular, spending an astonishing 33 weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart, and is widely regarded as an enduring modern jazz classic. I first found this album about 15 years ago when I was a kid in my parent's garage. I immediately fell in love with this song and would listen on repeat as a kid and throughout my high school years. I would fall asleep to this song and the rest of the album, do homework, and just go about my day. It is also the first song I taught myself how to play on the bass. Now my husband loves this song, and maybe our kids will, too.

You sound like me. I found this CD at a yard sale. I think I wore this cut out after playing it while commuting. It’s nice to hear that other people love it as much as I do !

I found this album almost 45 years ago in a music store when I was based in Riyadh. Like you, it encouraged me to go out and buy a bass guitar. Superb musicians. 😊

Growing up, this was part of my dad's CD collection that he'd play during during weekend dinners. Which is why I associate this piece with my mother's roasts and washing dishes afterwards. But hey, it's still catchy!

When I came home from my 1st seaman’s tour, my cousin introduced me to this band Fourplay back in ‘94. From then on I got hooked up on your new style of jazz. And this is one of my favorite piece. I hope and pray that Lee would return to your group. It’ll be an amazing reunion. Love you guys. Be safe Thank you so much 💝

I’m a subscriber- been listening to them for close to 25 years, since the days of WSJT,94.1,Smooth Jazz-in Tampa, Florida, my old home- Fourplay- off the charts & always has been- puts me in a relaxed frame of mind- makes me wish I was at St.Pete Beach,enjoying an ice cold beer,listening,watching the palm trees, the sand,the waters of the Gulf of Mexico- enjoy-

Been away from past habit of avid listening to music, 'side from the supermarket (we only have one) BGM that pleasantly gets stuck in your head- well, it's pleasant for a WHILE. I said all that to say THIS. Getting back to head-bobbin' is so refreshing under the spell of Fourplay.
