Chuck Loeb was the man on lead guitar. No disrespect to Rit or Carlton. Chuck just had a way all his own. RIP, Chuck! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Ricardo Moraes-Pinto Oh!!! THAT IS NATHAN EAST!!! I LOVED HIM!!! IN' 80'S WOW! I regret I didn't follow him....man...No wonder he is SO GOOD!!!LOL.I checked the same video by someone else? There were no credits...so...FXXXING AWESOME ! NATHAN EAST & HARVEY MASON TOGETHER ! NO WONDER! LOL.Thanks for your comment ! Otherwise I wouldn't have realised it! No wonder he looked so familiar! I think what you meant to say or to capsulize is that Mr. East is a multi-faceted player/musician with many talents. But for most of us, what he brings to the table with his bass guitar is the ability to play pure rhythm or to play lead guitar with his expanded bass guitar...if you know what I mean....he is not just a background or complimentary player.....he carries the melody line when called for or plays low end bass parts....when you add his vocal talent....he becomes a key cog in the success of the ensemble that is Fourplay. And yes, he has played with many commercial artists in so many musical formats....a testament to his versatility.

Nathan East, the bassist in Fourplay has been touring and recording with Eric Clapton for a number of years. Fourplay represents a jazz supergroup, with each musician being one of the best on their instrument of choice.

Guitarist Chuck Loeb passed away several years ago, however the group has resumed touring/recording with Paul Jackson, Jr. on guitar. Prior to Chuck Loeb initially Lee Ritenour was the guitarist, who was later replaced by Larry Carlton prior to the transition to Cuck Loeb;
