I have to admit those group of individuals who went up and repainted the hood of Santa Fe 552 did a spot on job LONG LIVE THE SANTA FE!

@@jefftoft5568 I actually found out that BNSF repainted 552 because 552 previously was vandalized with graffiti I’m just glad they went all out and restored the Santa Fe lettering and not changed it to BNSF bold letters

I remember seeing those mining company engines go past my house, a while back today I actually saw a merger mac, and the other day I saw a 3 grey ghosts, 2 on a southbound, along with the veterans unit, and a fakebonnet. And another grey ghost heading north. Made my day as I bolted down the stairs.

Those are the new et44ac locomotives of Canadian Pacific no way dude this is so awesome man sweet and wicked bro 😂😂😂😂 and is that a new BNSF sd40 locomotive nice 😮😮 I love that shit dawg and that is a sd40-2 of BNSF oops Canadian national sd70ace and sd75m love those trains with union pacific big boy 4014 and union pacific EMD sd70m 4015

They were originally for a mining company in Canada, you can read the name through the touch up paint. I don’t remember off the top of my head. Not sure where they went after they passed through here.

That was brought up at the time but they were originally on lease to a Canadian mining company. The expansion they were leased for did not happen, if you look closely you can see they painted over that name of that company. Thanks for watching.

What a great video. That must be some camera you have that will pick up the hammering of an air compressor as if you were standing next to it. I also want to heartily thank those responsible for renewing the Santa Fe lettering on the GE but do you realize what a bind you’ve put some of us in? I detest the taggers that enjoy the destruction of someone else’s property but what do you say to a tagger who has done such a spectacular job of renewing a piece of equipment instead of destroying it albeit using the same methods? Now we have to divide taggers into the good and bad taggers. It would be too much to ask for to even hope that BNSF would pull the Dash-8 into the paint shop to complete the job. I wish I knew how to slip the good taggers some cash for paint.

Looks like it's been a pretty good last few months! I'm looking forward to seeing what this upcoming year has in store. I see your older videos and other older footage online and I sometimes think that railroading has gotten boring compared to even 15 years ago, but at the same time I guess you have to look at things through a readjusted lens and "get it while it lasts."
