As much as I love the idea of it being all the Merc's, it feels like the Spy is changing disguises to give himself a better vocal range and I fux with it

I don't know why, but Scout's line after he hears Spy laugh hit really hard for some reason. "This isn't a game. We are screwed!" Shows that Scout is genuinely taking this seriously, and it reminds me that, for them, this isn't your run-of-the-mill battle. This is a genuine fight for survival against their own creator.

I love that when it swaps to each mercenary, it adds something to the instrumental. Like with demo, it adds stickies blowing up, and with Scout, it adds the bat hitting or medic with the Uber saw and heavy the mini gun revving and with engie its sentry noises, and etc. I really like that detail. Edit: i also noticed that at 1:51, you can hear when the cart is almost about to be pushed in.

The fact that Gabe’s icon is a valve handle should be an indicatior of how powerful he is

i always wanted someone to make an actual animated version of this, i always come up with my own takes in my head when i imagine things, but this is even better since it's in the flesh! lowkey glad joe is at least somewhat into fnf what with the whole whitty mod tf2 thing and now we get this down the line maybe we could get an animated version of prey with demoman scout and soldierrrrrr..?

A detail I like about these TF2 animations is that every mercenary gets represented in some form. It shows how talented and creative the animator can get.

THIS IS AN AMAZING PLAYABLE RENDITION OF FURSCORNS' TF2 FOURTH WALL COVER!! The fact that any of the characters are animated so smoothly, dialogue animations are added for a much understandable way of how the characters interact, and my golly, this is one of the most high effort visually playable of a cover yet Magnificent work, SilentManJoe and DesireDelta!

The smooth transition between engineer and medic at 1:40 goes hard

Being sniped by a bot that’s spinning while looking straight up in the air fills me with a wrath that simply cannot be conveyed with human words.

Here's my headcanon for this: -Bots are wreaking havoc upon the tf2 universe, places are abandonned, and cities burn all around the globe. -Valve arrests sourcemod characters such as the Deathmatch merc and the civilian, theirs crime? Existing... essentially putting an end to the work of theirs own communities. -In a desperate attempt for salvation, the mercs decide to finally do it, if they can't fix this, then they gotta break the fourth wall, travel trought steam and reach the Valve HQ and try to talk to Mr Gaben and make him listen to reason, but they stumble upon an awful sigh: Locked up in cells literally made out of money, lies Gordon, Chell, Bill, Francis, Nick, Alyx, Hale, Grey, Louis, Barney... everybody else.... trapped.... caged up like slaves.... slaves of their own father, trapped in a half life with the burning desire to once again be a free man.... Things aren't looking to good... The Valve has been corroded by the money for way to long and it isn't afraid of taking down any and all who opposes them. Either willingly or by force. But the mercs will not go down without a fight, as the last ones standing right before the creator's hand himself, theirs not just doing it for theirs game, isn't it? It's not just for theirs fans! It's not just for themselves! It's a fight for freedom, and no false god, as powerfull as he may be, shall stand between them, and the sweetness of life.

I'm glad you put the credits at the beginning of the video instead of at the end or even in the description like some people who don't show any form of respect towards the original creator(s) do. Thank you! The animation is incredible as always keep doing what you're doing.

The dynamic and smooth actions of all the mercenaries and Gaben is absolutely mesmerizing to watch, along with the incredible audio work of the different class sound effects playing during their segments adds a lot of charm to each and is honestly so awesome to listen to. The custom Gaben sprites is just amazing. this cover is best enough already, making it with gameplay makes its 100x better.

The fact the camera bobs every time gabe moves really gives final boss vibes

The lines in the beginning gives a sense of desperation and dread but hope is in there. Scout saying “let’s get em!”, soldier saying “ I haven’t got all day! CHARRRGE!” But in my personal opinion demo yelling “FREEDOOOOOOM!” Is the best one, shows that this is really a fight for there life and future.

I like to imagine that the entire tf2 team is just stuck in a endless void, fighting a entity who dressed up as Gaben and so to keep balance in our world and to make sure he don't escape as they know what they are fighting for, the tf2 mercs die and re-spawn for a endless amount of time until the day the real Gabe release or update tf2 to the point where it is alive again (its dead but people continue to keep it alive) and that day is where the mercenaries claim victory against the false Gabe. its been 4 years.

Ngl I gotta love how the instrumental changes with different characters, most noticabely Engi. These details make the song so fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
